i was using atlantis v2 .03 ohm coils rated 70-80 watts and i have been using these coils for months never had a issue, poped in some juice i bought from a shop here in australia and let it sit in the tank around 10 minutes before i got to it and i got the taste but in the back i also got burnt flavor at only 60 watts..so i lowered to 55 and same all the way down to 35 watts on a 0.3 ohm coil rated 70-80..so i thought i had a bad coil..threw it out and put in another and used a different flavor from the same brand and same thing..i started thinking i got a bad string coils i threw that one put in another and went with a different brand of juice and it hits like a champ at 70 watts........ me off i threw two perfectly good coils in the trash..im not sure if i can post the company i got the juice from but its in australia not the states..

I've had similar experiences, though not straight out of the gate.
I also use v2 Atlantis coils and every juice is slightly different for me. Some do well at higher wattage while some like it significantly cooler.
I've also noticed some juices are thicker than others despite having the same PG/VG ratio and of course there's the darker liquid vs. lighter colored liquid variations.
I tune in each juice accordingly but some are more difficult than others.
I have yet to get a "bad" coil, but the 20 I just got from China aren't spot on in resistance.

I've had 1 bad coil out of 12 or so that i've put in so far.
Honestly I change coils more then I should cause I don't pay attention when I chain vape and run my Atlantis dry :(
@Sanctuary Denied - are those the knockoff Atlantis coils from FT? Been considering ordering some as I'm running low just wasn't sure on how good they would be.

Yes.
This was the first order I have ever placed with FT. 20 coils @ .3 Ω.
$20.65 Replacement Coil Head for Atlantis V2 Clearomizer (20-Pack) - 0.3ohm (20-50W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
They took almost 2 weeks to get, but well worth the wait.
The first one I popped in is showing .40 Ω but originally .44 Ω on my IPV v3 150w.
The second shows .4 Ω now but originally .33 Ω on my Sigelei 150.
The former wasn't making a connection with the Sigelei but works fine on the IPV.
The construction is pretty good but the top screen on the first one had a burr big enough to plainly see.
I'm on my third day with the first and second day with the latter. Both are chugging right along with approximately 20 ml passing through both. They seem to be on par for longevity.
I will probably order more hardware from FT cautiously, and definitely order more coils.
