+1 Reo. Solid as a rock and the metal ones are made out of solid block of aircraft aluminum. They can even be washed.

yep...tube or box...what sized battery ?

My megalodon seems like it will last a life time in choice of stainless or aluminum and can take most batteries, in mini mode the 18350 and when i add the other piece its bigger and can take the 18650 battery.
Simple design and works excellent for me anyways.
What may need replacement in years to come perhaps a simple hardware store spring and of course batteries .
