(OK, Time for a Gummy rant:)

I usually have the same rant, but nobody to tell it to. :>)

for heavy vaporers like us. (I do close to 12 mil a day.) we are constantly going though changes in flavor and vape. That others do not notice as much or as fast. with all my oem atties and modded atties and voltage devices sometimes all I can get is plain old steam, no matter what I try. most days now are very frustrating trying to get that once upon a time LR vapor and taste. Quite a few times I have thrown every thing in the junk drawer and walked away mad. I'm at the point now where I am doing almost 50/50 with TA and EM just to get a taste.

Some people on a different thread mentioned that the loss of taste might be caused by a dehydrated tongue/mouth. They tried using Biotene mouthwash or spray (which is either synthetic spit or makes you salivate--I don't know) and they said their sense of taste came right back. I don't know if it's true, but other posters said stuff like "hey--it works!" so I thought you might be interested, roadrash.

(It's in the toothpaste section of the store).

Oh for me I have most of it down pat. A big battery (and they are getting better every day). I have my fav. juice gives me the taste, and a standard 510 atty @ 2.5 ohms and 4.8 volts give me the tons of vapor I like. The bummer is the first 4 or 5 hits after a 3 drop drip and the last hit when it got to dry. the best taste is about 5 hits before it goes dry.
I never found a cartridge mod that really worked for long. So I am only hoping that this will solve the problem of carrying a drip bottle without changing the taste or amount of exhale vapor. I'm sure this can be done with the right mesh and coil. After I find the right setting, I hope for consistency, You could always count on that with the analogs. A winston always taste like a winston. (or what ever brand)

Some want it complicated

This very smal PEN with genisis atty was a hard job to make.
cp01tb1w746sk.jpg

Inside is a 10440 with 600mAh, a genisis atty, a real microswitch, an a liquid deopt.
Finally, I have the parts gold and silver plated. Codename is "Fine Lady"
A very fine job for which you need nerves of "steel cable" :laugh:

Hope, you like it.

OK, Time for a Gummy rant:
...

Gummy, I'm trying to understand the principle here. According to Raidy's mesh sizes:

COARSE MESH = larger droplet = less 'steam' = stronger throat hit (= sticky lungs).

FINE MESH = smaller droplet = lots of 'steam' = less throat hit (= cleaner lungs).

Is this correct?

@Gbear: Modder fever has caught up fully:laugh:
What type of batterie you plan to use?

Like you, modder fever hit me in the first month. I think a little 14650 battery would be cool.
At this point I am trying to decide whether to stain it a dark cherry or leave it this light oak color. I really wanted to get some Bird's eye maple. Some mods should just work, and others should be a work of art.

Fine mesh more steam, coarse mesh more throat hit. But not larger or smaleer droplets.
Let me describe the theory in part 2.
The magic word is saturation. ppm of liquid/ccm of vapour.

OK I can wait. kinda,,, In the mean while:
surface tension of the liquids we use:
PG= 43.50
VG=64.00
Ethanol=22.10 (everclear,vodka)
All specs are @ 20c. there are of course temp coefficients for each.

OMFG Gummy Bear!!!! Impressive. What are the chances of a how to? With all due respect and credit to raidy of course. I want to build one of those...

That's easy. Buy a wooden dowel rod and cut away everything that doesn't look like a cigar. :p
really, it's that easy. basic woodworking 101. cut, drill, sand.
Master Raidy will cover the electronics in part 2.

Many retailers send free samples in EPI platic tanks. To test the different flavours i made this EPI-PV.

epi01pv47wnh1l.jpg

The advantage: It's so easy to test different liquids. Wash the atty under hot water and plug the next EPI-tank to the EPI-PV, thats all.
A very interesting aspect: The continous regulation of vapor. It's amazing how much can change the taste by the scheme.
