This is listed on Isaac's twitter...

So, are these 808 MEGA's with a new design? Perhaps with the inner workings of a V2 gold?

Inquiring minds want to know...
This set will be a tad different than the standard 808 Mega's we been running through. I lowered the internal resistance as well as the overall resistance and heightened the filling percentage to try something different. We're going to make both 510 Mega and 808 Mega in a 2.0Ω variation.

I'm a newbie, so be gentle!

I was looking at the 808 mega for a Buzz mod I' just ordered. 2 ohms might be too low for that, but probably good for my V4L XL 808's. I was hoping for a mega to go with the Buzz. When you say variation, do you mean it will only be a 2 ohm version, or will there be two versions, one with a higher resistance?

Oh! I'm sorry we're going to have the standard 3 ohm ones too :D I do have 5 Stainless steel 808's left if you would like me to add them to the site for you Matches.

Thanks! I think I'll wait for you to get the black ones back in stock. The Buzz is black, and I know it isn't a stealthy mod, LOL, but still, I think I want to low key it as much as I can. I will want way more than 5 anyway, so I'll wait and save on shipping. Probably more like 20.

I'm still finding my way around this miracle called E CIGS, from almost 3 PAD to zero overnight just 8 days ago. I read about the megas, and I need to get more familiar with the rest of your product line. Thanks for the reply. I'll keep an eye on your stock.

Mind if I ask another question? If you had a V4L XL 808, would you go for the 2 ohm or the 3 ohm mega? Seems like the 2 ohm would be best for my 808, while the 3 would be better for the Buzz. Hey, I warned you! I'm a newb! I might want to switch my carts to the mega for both of the two kinds of PV's I have.

Not a problem in the least. :)
Well the 2.0 should set you right at home in the 3.7V area as the 3 ohm will do you justice in the 4.5-5V vicinity. Haha don't worry about asking questions, really, feel totally free to. :)

NoMatches you should be fine on the Buzz. You just need to turn it down. It's the Infinity that you can't use the LRs on.

Still, there is no need for an LR on a VV PV. More current draw, shorter batt charge cycle times, maybe shortened batt life, and no improvement in performance with all that headroom available up to well over 5 volts. Besides, I intend to buy an Infinity. Why mess with cartos under 2.5 ohms at all? They are great for standard 808's and the like.

Two questions:

Any idea when the 3 ohm mega 808's might come in?

Why is it that all E Cig suppliers won't take orders when stuff is out of stock? I'd just as soon be able to place an order, let it go on backlog. I mean backlog is generally a good thing for most businesses, and I as a customer don't have to keep checking for availabilty. Is it because the supply chain is shaky? Even if that is the issue, refunds can always be made. Just a generic question. I can understand not taking say, juice orders, but hardware should be easy to backlog I would think. Additionally, for something that has been out of stock for a while, isn't it better to have a backlog que? Instead of first come first serve once an item is back in stock? And with a backlog you can turn inventory immediately. It just seems like it would make sense for everybody.

If you take credit cards and get in a mode of doing business that has you regularly giving out refunds or credit backs you're going to be in some costly .... with your card carrier or at the least ending up paying a lot more to do business. You can get charged per transaction by card carriers, and that charge can be a percentage of the transaction or a flat fee, or you can be charged by blocks of transactions (similar concept to cell phone minutes or a data cap on an internet connection), and if you go over you either pay a premium or get bumped up into a bigger plan.

But basically depending on your level of credit transactions and your markup it can be a really big liability to risk having to do a lot of refunds. Also there are always going to be some customers who will just get ...... and refute charges, which is worse than a credit back because it won't matter if the custy is a jerkwad or not if you get enough refuted charges the bank will start to decline charges to that vendor automatically.
