Thanks David for the reply..I am mainly interested in a smaller device and that is why I was looking into either the Simplicity or the 10440 however, the later does not come with brass top and bottom which I loved (from looking at pictures posted at different sites) so I don't know if those can be found on different devices or can be gold plated afterwords...I just love that gold accent hens me asking on a previous post of what was attached to the Simplicity on your first product introduction pictures.

The 10440 is no longer made unfortunately. We stopped using brass in the top caps as it just didn't meet super-t's vision of quality. Brass wears out in the fine atomizer thread area in 3-12 months on average depening on use, its just too soft a material in our opinion to be used in the critical atomizer thread area. You may be able to plate the SS caps of the 14500 simplicity, but I've never tried it.

i've been using the simplicty for i dunno... 2 weeks now? and it seriously is amazing! for some reason, i feel like it hits MUCH harder than my P+16! i'm so happy with it :D

I agree with this statement wholeheartedly! I believe the 14500 cell performs better than the 16340, at least that has been my experience... I used to have the opposite opinion, but I believe now that the 14500 mods I was using at the time didn't perform on the same level as the Simplicity. I couldn't be happier with this device, it has all of the right features (including safety :D) in a very attractive little package.

So happy with my simplicity! My go-to mod for work. Pocket friendly and performs great.

The 10440 is no longer made unfortunately.

Will there be a new 10440 model available in the future? I think 10440 mods are perfect when i want something sleek and discrete. My wife will not use anything larger than her Joytech Ecab with 510 connector. I actually like the Ecab with 510 connector and Aw/efest batteries...performs surprising well with the right carto. I just wish i could get something of higher quality.

One quick question: what personal experience do you have in lithium chemistry batteries?

Lets not stir the pot, lets keep this on topic. If you want to start a new thread on battery discussion or check out the numerous battery discussion threads on ECF, I would encourage that, but his concerns have been answered and addressed.

I am very sorry,i apologize.
I didn't really think about what consequences it might produce when i posted, i acted on the spur of the moment.

Have a problematic Kick? You could send it my way and I will store it for you at no charge, or you can sell it , but if you really want a cheap and easy fix, get one of those tiny little battery magnets and place it between the top of battery and bottom of KICK and wah lah, no more misfires.

I was having an issue with mine and remembered that I had always used mine on my Sabers with the magnet. I remember 8 months ago reading on the Evolv site that they recommended doing this, but since they removed that from their care and instructions PDF.

Magnet on the top and bottom?.... I have an easier fix than that-Buy a Crown, I have had 0 misfires since I started using one...

I would like to give the crown a try, but I just dont like the idea of the "beeps" I guess Im one of those people that once Im used to something Im hesitant to try something new.

Its like with the Kayfun, I love it and would love to have it, but Im scared to get to know it, and learn something new. I keep talking myself out of it, and find excuses like its size and telling myself I dont really need to spend more money.:)
