I would love a true Newport DIY recipe! In fact, I'm vaping New/Port 12mg from FSUSA right now that I ordered when I first started vaping (working on 60ml bottle here)! I remember reading somewhere on the forum that FSUSA uses FlavourArt to make their juices...so hopefully this little tip might inspire someone to come up with a recipe as close as possible!

This is my first try at a Menthol tobacco using all FA flavors (For 5ml):

-4.7ml Nic Base (I use a 50/50 mix at 20mg)
-6 drops Perique Black
-2 drops Arctic Menthol (more to taste, I'm not a big menthol fan)
-2 drops MTS Vape Wizard

I think Perique has the most accurate "ashy" taste out of all the tobacco flavors and removes most of the sweetness from the PG/VG base. The MTS rounds it off a bit (Perique has very strong pepper notes) and gives it some body. In any event, I think it's a good starting point.

So upStomp, does it taste anything remotely close to Newport? :)

I love the FA Tobacco Virginia (including the MTS Vape Wizard, which I heard is awesome)....I plan on ordering all of their tobacco flavors as soon as inventory has been updated on OSDIY, hopefully in the next day or so!

I think it's impossible to completely replicate smoking with juice, never mind replicating a particular brand. I think the best you can hope for is a menthol/tobacco recipe that you love even more. I know that's exactly what's happened for me - the few times I've tried a real cigarette over the last couple months always ends with me anticipating putting it out so I can get back to my PV.

I've been using the FA Virginia flavor lately for an Applewood recipe I'm zeroing in on and it's been working out great. It wouldn't surprise me if you get good results by simply adding a bit of menthol to what you have so far.

I totally agree....there is no replicating the real thing, and to be perfectly honest, I have absolutely no desire to do so! I will share though that there is no need for me to add menthol to the FA Virginia at all....I love it exactly as it is! :)

I've got the rest of the FA tobacco flavors on the way, and I'm really looking forward to trying them all, especially Perique Black! :)
