For DIY, I would get the ejucie me up calculator. Take an hour or so to familiarize yourself with each and every field and what it does and how it affects the other numbers. Once you have a handle on that, it's very easy and consumes less time.

The only other rule I would say with DIY is to get syringes and measure your amounts carefully.

If you have questions, you can ask me here or just post on the DIY board. People love helping over there.

Start with a juice you currently enjoy that is simple. Then look for a recipe that sorta matches that. The rest is just experimentation.

My "simple is best" philosophy is constantly at war with the "you don't need it, but you know you can't live without it" voice shouting in my head. I think you're looking at it in the right way: You haven't just quit smoking and switched to vaping, you've started a new hobby!

I've been happy with my little 808's and eGo/protank, but find myself checking out the Ovale elips-C and emini several times a day and having to wipe drool off the computer screen. (I'm not into the hardware aspect of vaping, but design is my first love and the elips-C and emini/pcc setup are beeeooootiful!)

As far as DIY'ing goes, when I first read up on it and saw the percentage recipes and calculation apps, it scared the bejeezus out of me. So I scrapped all that and just started adding so many drops of concentrated flavoring to so many mls of unflavored base liquid, experimenting until I found the right combinations that tasted good. Works for me. Simple. Just the way I like things!

I know you went to Mr. Vape, what other site did you find? (I bought the sodalite tip, I just hope it's "Bobo Blue.")

I've been reading those and seems there is some awesome deals but man in a tight wad when it comes to gambling. Is hate to have to click a decent purchase up as a loss

I did I did...that one is so pretty, it looks bobo blue..I am wanting a bobo now..I noticed the butterflies after you mentioned it!! Hot Vapes was the other place that I found tips:)

I don't care for Trippy Tips (or ones that look like Trippy Tips), I like Sagewood Glass better. And I am assuming you are familiar with Mole Hill Mountain.

I don't have a trippy or a sagewood yet...Me and Molehill Mountain are very well acquainted, probably 2 acquainted if you ask hubby. I have a lot of their tips, just can't beat the looks and price in my opinion!

Hey Stormy!! It seems like I always do things I never said I would do when it comes to vaping! Just some examples lol...

Went from clearo's, to novas, to cartos, to cartotanks...now about to try my luck at dripping & researching RBA's

'Just get a Provari!'...didn't get the price before I started researching other pv's. purchased one & fell in love so now I have 2 & planning to purchase my 3rd for my one year vape anniversary! Especially now since I can get it in my favorite color...red!!!

DIY...something else I said I'd never do! Just got my supplies earlier this week & mixed up a couple of mini batches already!

Still haven't saved any money but spending $200 a month on cigarettes gives me a good amount of room to play around with even if I just want to break even. I think eventually ill start to save but I'm having too much fun to worry about it. The bills are all paid so I fig what the heck!!!

I've been vaping for almost 1 1/2 years and I'm still keeping it simple. I have a collection of batteries (spinners being my favorite at this point) and carto tanks and cartos. I've had a few vivi nova's, but prefer carto tanks. I love the XL resurrector cartos from Crystal Clear Vapes. Haven't had a dud yet and they hold a lot and last me a solid 7 days if not longer (that's with heavy use.) For batteries, I'm a sucker for pretty, so I have quite a few eGo Q's. (With the resurrector's I don't even miss that they aren't VV.)

I've only looked into DIY juice a little bit. It scared me. Besides, given a choice, I like to eat out any chance I get, so why would I want to find something else to do in the kitchen?
Building my own wicks? I don't think my brain works that way.

Wow! Yes! The prices up north are insane! I went to grad school in michigan & I'd buy cartons when I was back in nc to take back with me! Didn't last me long though! Lol! I was up to at least a carton a week & here that cost about $50 a week.
