A no-name Velocity Mini clone, dual 26G Kanthal 11 wraps, 2.5mm ID at 68 watts. Loaded with a DIY Key Lime Pi juice that I've been fine tuning specifically for this atomizer for a couple of years.
I kid you not, so good that I have to say ".......n.." out loud when I take a hit when it's freshly wicked. No atomizer I own or have ever used even comes close to it in terms of smoothness of airflow, flavor, vapor production and general performance.
Reduced chamber for warmth and flavor. The design of the AFC allows for infinite variability of air flow while always covering the full width of the coil. Additional variable air holes on top for cooling kamikaze builds.
The deck speaks for itself. For a number of years and to some degree to this day it has become the standard deck design in many atomizers, and for a good reason.
Self aligning tab locked top cap, and innovation that started with the Velocity if I'm not mistaken.
A little factoid that I found out recently -
The authentic V1 and V2 Velocity are the product of a joint collaboration between Cisco (AvidVaper) and Dino Ferrari. They
never produced a Velocity Mini, there
is no authentic.
The Velocity Mini was created by Tobeco as a shorty version of the Velocity. So in the sense that they copied the fundamental design it's a clone, but it is modified and in my opinion highly improved. The V1 has an over sized chamber which affects flavor and airflow. The V2 is shorter (not as short as the Mini) and has a smaller drip tip than the V1 and the Mini, but still doesn't perform as well as the Mini.
I've used it a number of different mods over the years. Currently running it on a Releaux Gen 3, and a right bloody handsome pairing it is too.
