I have been vaping high PG (80/20) for over 2 years, not changed flavors in 5 months... and here just recently started with lower leg itching. I thought my wife had changed laundry soaps, nope. No other changes in my routine (yea I boring). So I took a benadryl and went to bed after a shower. Woke up in the morning, was OK. Went about my day... by lunchtime, it was starting again... and now I am home. Have a few red welts and what not on my legs and also on my stomach... I have never been allergic to anything in my life. From what I read this sounds like a classic PG allergy, weather that or I am allergic to work (which does stress me - the people that is). I don't have much 100%VG around, so this is gonna suck...cause I have to know if PG is the cause. I know most would advise go to a doctor... but I am a little hesitant at this point.

I hope it's improved for you ... and I don't have anything helpful to offer except that, yes, we can become allergic to substances we've tolerated well for years.
I became highly allergic to Mango after having enjoyed this fruit in abundance and without a reaction for 25 years. My reaction to it is so severe that I'm supposed to carry an EpiPen.
So it could be your PG .. flavors .. or something else. Good luck .. I hope you find your answer.

Maybe you became allergic to the laundry soap the same way you could become allergic to the juice. Our allergies have the opportunity to change all the time. I ended up in the hospital once for an orange juice allergy. I had no previously been allergic to orange juice, however each time after that I would break out. About five or six years later, it stopped. I can drink it again. Recently I became allergic to the laundry soap we had been using for three years. Once we swapped brands I was fine. Other times it can be something on you or your clothes from work or outside. It'll irritate your skin but once it is out of your environment the reaction will stop.

Here's another thread on the topic from a while back. You might find some info there.

Thanks! So I have been vaping PG free AVE Gorilla since Friday and was 100% VG couple days prior to that and everything cleared up. I tried a little PG yesterday and didn't have a reaction, so I think maybe I had just over done it with the high % of PG and a new PV. I will know more as I alternate to PG or VG all day... I don't think it was a flavor as I hand't changed anything in months.

BTW, it isn't the laundry detergent, when it goes away from changing my eliquid.

Like kentix mentioned, it could be your e-Liquid Supplier is using Differnet Ingredients of Maybe a Bad Batch of Nicotine Base.
Or it could be some sort of Insect Bite or Something you eat.

But no matter what the Cause, I'm a Big Believer in If it Works, Don't Change It.

If the VG Blend is working Better for you, I say stick with it.

I'm having almost the same problems Jolly...after 2.5 years vaping. I am also having little chest tightness though at times. I did go to my regular doctor yesterday and she was no help. At the time though I didn't have any rashes. I switched to some ave 100% vg juice yesterday and not much improvement yet. I cut down quite a bit on my vaping. But i really think i need to quit a few days to be sure. I am used to 24mg but am cutting myself down to 6mg with a new juice order.I really hope this isn't from vaping. :'-(
I think I will just have to go see an allergy specialist and quit messing around with this.

Same issues for me. I was vaping for about two months, started with a 100% VG with no problem noticed and then started alternating to a 70-30 mix (PG - VG). and after a couple of weeks I started to develop mild symptoms a rash slight itchiness off and on. I didn't put two and two together and continued to vape. Eventually it just got worse and worse. Now every time I vape PG within 30 minutes My skin turns red and itches, rash, heart racing fast, numbness and tingling in my hands and feet, dizziness, even pains in lower abdomen, swollen tongue, etc
I finally realized what was happening and stopped for several days. Most of the symptoms went away, so tried it again just to test if that was truly the culprit. Sure enough within 1/2 hour to an hour of vaping, most of those symptoms returned. In retrospect it was pretty stupid of me to "experiment" with my health like that. What I've been experiencing is called anaphylaxis which is an extremly serious allergic reaction. When your body responds in the ways many are mentioning on here it can be a very serious situation that can potentially kill you. I'm going to give it some time and try a 100% VG mix again and see if that works for me.

I do know that during that time I was alternating to 100% VG at times and looking back I was always doing better when I was vaping the VG rather than the PG so fingers crossed that it will work for me.
