alibaba is a large collection of various Chinese manufacturers - most companies require a minimum quantity of 10-100 per item with a 4-8 week lead time to process your order and spendy shipping costs

Not to mention the fact that many of the items are there are of questionable quality. While I have no doubt that there are quality items to be had there is a lot of chafe to go through.

yeah it's more of an ebay for chinese manufacturers/wholesalers.

I hear lots of scamming happens there but good deals can be found too

I have had good success buying off the site! Ordered 4-5 times now and only from companies with free shipping! Had the product within 15-20 days. Yes some companies do have limits to have to buy! 10-100+ but not all companies.

That way it works is nice too because the monies are not released to the vendor until you confirm you received the order!
