Ok,, just ordered from Vaporkings the Joye eGo kit in matte black - Genuine JoyeTech!
Plus some other stuff.

10ml bottle of medium 18mg RY4 flavor e-Liquid
A pack of FIVE FLAT TIP BLACK empty cartridges for Joye 510 or eGo e-Cigarette (Genuine Joyetech!)
Matte black atomizer for Joye 510 or Joye eGo e-Cigarette. Genuine Joyetech!
Medical grade 5ml syringe with BLUNT 18ga needle

These are things the things that have gathered I would probably need at some point from all that I have read so far.

Here are some questions that I can not really get a very clear idea on.

a.) How long should the Atomizer last? as in life span?

b.) what is the most efficient way for me to use the things I have purchased?

C.) did I purchase anything that I do not need?

d.) Can anyone provide suggestions on my next purchase? as in, what equipment would I need from this point forward to take full advantage of what I have purchased so far?

There is so much info and so little money to really spend on testing everything.

So I am looking for advice on the following......
Reputable companies for all things
Avg. Life Span of parts

I am committed to this as I really need to get off analogues.

Any advice is appreciated.

You are a little light on the juice

You did good but didn't need the syringe, only need that for filling cartomizers not cartridges, but that isn't a big deal, you may want to try them in the future. I would order more juice, I would recommend several flavors in small bottles til you know what you like. I go through 3 to 5 ml a day, so that 10 ml will not last you long. A) atties can last a month, but keep them clean and they'll last longer(blow them out sometimes). B) fill the cartridges by dripping into them. when they don't take any more drips (liquid on top), you're done. C) you're okay with your purchase. you don't really need the syringe. D) your purchase of the eGo as a first choice is a great one. your batteries will give you 6 or more hours of use. 1 batt will last me ALL day, but i was only a 1/2 to 3/4 pack a day smoker.
Here's my tips:
1) blow out a brand new atomizer (atty) into a paper towel before you use them. new atties have primer juice on them. it won't hurt you, but it tastes like ...... once yo do that, put a few 3 drips directly on the wick to prime it.
2) always carry your extra battery and an extra atty.

if you're trying to quit analogs, always have supplies. good luck and happy vaping!!!

Add a little more juice - one from the coffee group, one from the fruit group, one from the tobbaco group. Also a passthru. every thing else looks good to go.

I assume you mean a USB cable as a power source?

How about reputable companies for quality ejuice at a decent price?

Hi, Tepid! PT can blow a motherboard, but usually this is only the older motherboards. If this is a concern, you can always just hook the PT up to an adapter that plugs into the wall. I've been using a 510 PT on my computer without any problem whatsoever.

Juice? I'm going to suggest VaporBomb, but I'm biased. I love them!

Will keep them bookmarked though, cause the prices are pretty good.

After reading others have a reaction to PG and/or VG I went with what I thought I might like in 100% PG and 100% VG. to see what might happen and an empty 10ml bottle to mix them if need be.

At some point yes, I will become a mixologist. Any advice there?

My only hope is that I don't get completely turned off or find out one day that I am growing egor out of my chest.

Would be nice if everything showed up on Wednesday from all that I ahve ordered.

100% pg will give you a powerful throat hit and 100% vg will give you lots of vapor. FSUSA is one of my favorite vendors.

Are they always a 50/50?

I refer to the ones tthat do not have an option, nor tell you what the ratios are.

pass-throughs are good. i almost never use a battery when i'm home. i'd rather use my pass, since my laptop is almost always on. a battery in-line pass is my favorite. it has a rechargeable battery in-line which actually powers the PV. the usb powers the battery. as far as juice goes, i prefer 100% PG. i don't think that the vapor amounts arer that dramatically greater with VG. i do think that VG is harder on atomizers. just an opinion. good luck.

That depends on what the vendor is using. You have to look on the site or email the vendor directly and ask if you can't find the information. Some use 100%PG, some have a choice of 100%PG or 100%VG. I prefer vendors where the choice is mine.

If you decide to get a passthrough, the best wall adapter can be found at madvapes.com. It's a 2amp AC to USB wall adapter. They also have a 6 ft USB extension cord for cheap and a 2amp Car to USB adapter. I use these adapters and they work great, unlike when I had my PTs plugged into the computer or when I was using .5amp adapters. The advice I've found on this forum is that passthroughs don't work as well when using the .5amps from computer USB ports and adapters.

Additional Juices *shrug*, I am guessing FreedomSmokesUSA is mixing them.
I'm patient.

In the mean time.....

I am already trying to think of a way to turn the eGo into something else, more like (what I think is) a bottom feeder? or something that won't use cartos if I can help it, even though I will start on those without much choice. I think I am looking for a 3ml or 5ml straight pull type wicking system that doesn't need to use polyfills of any kind. ( I have seen the pics, and want to avoid that ).

I am still kicking myself for not trying this sooner, cause I am drawn to this kinda stuff.
But I will find a self made mix that will suit me for the long run. Yes, I am heavily researching this and already bought some humco glycerin. Even thinking about ways to make something that I can use if I can get away from nic completely and just vape. I like to smoke, but need to quit cigs and everything I am seeing and reading is a positive to me.

My only concern is atty longevity at the moment.

Some of the box mods is what I think I may opt for in the long run. I don't know yet.
Too many ideas floating around in my head with no parts and no direction yet.
