almost outta kanthal wire can I use---?

Nobody in my town sells kanthal wire I'm an amateur jeweler and have sterling and fine silver wire in 26, 28 &30 awg. Sterling is 92.5% silver with the other 7.5% being copper and fine silver being at least 99.9% silver by law but probably 100% are these safe to use as an alternative?

Silver is non-resistant, it won't heat up I'm afraid to say.
