Hey everyone,

I've been using my mini a lot lately (instead of my Provari) but I'm searching for the perfect attachment. I've tried a few different attys from avid...they have great vapor and flavor, but not a very good throat hit and they lose effectiveness after a couple days (too expensive for such a short life). I also have tried it with some boge cartos and shorty cartos, which have good throat hit but poor vapor and polyfill taste.

What else can you guys recommend to try? I read a thread from one guy who was using fluxomizers but that doesn't seem like it would work well...maybe a bottom coil clearomizer like this GotVapes PHOENiX™ REBORN Bottom Coil XL 1.5ml Carto 2.4-2.6ohms [gv-PHOENIX-XL-2.4-510] - $11.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more ?

Thanks!

The hornet does look pretty sick, its just too expensive for me to gamble on right now...

how about the hh.357s over at avid? I see a lot of love for them but also a lot of people saying they are way overpriced for what you get...

Before I discovered and switched to the rebuildables, I used the HH-357s all the time. I loved them. They are rather expensive, but they lasted me a long, long time....much longer than a regular atty. I had a couple that lasted me well over two months each. It's worth a try. They take a tiny bit of getting used to, but I really loved them.

Another vote for the Hornet, but if you don't want to make the investment might I suggest a 901 atty? They were my go-to before RBA's. Best draw, flavor and vapor of all the disposables I tried. My faves were the Cisco bridgeless 1.5s and the IKV 1.7s. You will need an open center post 901-510 adapter, but I never had any problems with them. You may also want to get a drip shield as they sometimes leak from the side air hole.

Thanks for the input everyone! Can anyone recommend a good rebuildable that would work well with the reo mini but that is more affordable than the hornet?

There are no others that I know of. I use a adapter and my A7 or Reomizer. It is tall and top heavy but works. I can't spend much for a RBA, so I am stuck with what I do have.

Everytime I see your avatar of that beeeeeeeeooootiful redwood burl woodvil I get so jealous!! :)
I would crawl across a paved hot parking lot ful of broken glass in the desert heat to get a woodvil mini! Bummed that Rob will no longer be making them and only the 18490 woodvil will be the smallest when he does start making them again. I had the pleasure of buying a curly maple/ebony mini from honkeykong awhile back. Only had it a month before it was stolen. :( At the time I didn't realize that I had a collectors item that would be no longer in production mini woodvil. I'm hoping that when Rob does start making woodvils again that someone will want a new 18490 woodvil and be willing to part with their mini 18500 model! I love the size as I heard the 18490 model is quite a bit thicker. I know it has the longer battery life but I never minded having an extra battery with me for my mini. I will just have to be patient and enjoy my regular mini/hornet setup until I get lucky. :)

Did you ever hear anything about your missing Mini? I remember that happening to you.

The pic is my Woodvil. I should take a pic of my Mini Redwood burl. It is nice looking also.

I hope one day you will find a Mini they are a very nice size.

I remember this post from Robert:

Hello Rob I am taking some time to catch up . I have made 9 models in less then 3 years . I am jumping back into wood as soon as I have enough metal mods built to sustain me through a wood build . I plan to build mini woodvils woodvils woodvil 18490s and some vv woodvils . I have a ton of boxes half done and lots of wood cubed up and ready to mill . I haven't decided were I will go after that I no people want a vw mod something a little smaller then the vv grand perhaps
