Anyone know of a liquid that is comparable in taste to Johnson Creek's original Tennessee Cured formula? The new "non-tobacco" formula just doesn't cut it for me.

Randy--absent the employment of tobacco Absolute or Tobacco Essence, you just can not replicate it. The vanilla extract base they are now using just does not make the grade.

I know, Sun ... I hate when manufacturer's "improve" something into a horrible caricature of the original product, maintaining all the while how much "better" it is.
Yeah, i just don't have the taste for the new formula either. I applaud them for the movement away from tobacco products, but i do not believe they should be able to continue using the original names. ie. Pepsi wouldn't revamp the whole formula and just name it pepsi, they would name in wild cherry pepsi, or whatever. you know what i mean. Original Tobacco as i know it is the old formula, this new formula does not qualify to be called original tobacco
Liscab--You know that is very true--you may hear every once in a while that it some eliquid is bad, but JC is always getting mixed reviews. I can attest to all the good and bad orders I have gotten from them.

I think the flue cured has been the closet to what I thought Tenn Cured was like.. I got mine from RMV..

Pat--I think they are being proactive with the FDA in mind. Pulling the Tobacco Absoulte and the Tobacco Essence from their formula negates finding most if not all negitave by-products in the furtherance of FDA approval---but that does not change new nasty taste for sure.

the first tenn cure i got from them was marvelous, but it was not labeled, so I dont know if it was a real tenn cure, the secound one was unflavored, so I dont know what to say, Ihave never bought from then since then, the flue cure does not taste like the tenn cure i remeber but Iam doing a lot of flue cure and i mix that with tab and get closer

my english is not enough to get your idea, do you still buy from JC or not, you have been hit by JC mistakes before, at less that is what I think I have read in older posts
That is correct Liscab--I have had many good and many bad orders from them. Why do I keep going back? It is made in the USA and I am hoping that the ingrediants have less of a chance of being tainted.

I got new and improved Reduced PG 24mg Tenn Cured, Espresso, and JC original last week. Er, I mean I got root beer, cream soda, and cotton candy.
I too am looking for a 100% VG replacement. I have an order w/ JuicyLiquid for VG Caramel Crisp en route. If anyone else finds a VG alternative, post up!

Still no luck in my "quest". I've tried Ecopure Rich, and liquids from Vermont Vapor and Wet Your Stick, but none of them really do the trick for me. I recently ordered some high strength unflavored from VT Vapor, so that I can experiment with my own mixes.
I made a few orders from JC and never had any problems with either delivery time or the juice (except for the horrible new formula Tenn Cured, but I returned it with no issues).
Once they changed to the new formula, I made 2 orders from VaporGuys as they carried the old formula. No problem on the first, but the second arrived with the package damaged and the bottles missing. That, unfortunately, was the last of their stock of the old formula. I resisted the urge to go postal with the post office with difficulty.
I'm very disappointed with JC. They had a great product and service (at least in my experience with them), I liked what they stood for, and I would have been a long term regular customer.
Maybe an enterprising forum member can eventually figure out the recipe so we can make our own version of Tenn Cured!

I ordered 4 30ml bottles of original recipe JC Tennessee Cured from electronic-cigz.com
They were sent to me with the new labels buy with the old dropper. I cat attest it is the original recipe!!! It tastes amazing like it used to. I was a little thrown off when it was sent with the new label, but it is the real deal folks.
