First time posting on the forums. Been looking at the Ihybrids by faceless and the GG models but thought maybe I should start with something a little less expensive as my first mechanical. Any suggestions? Looking to spleen around $100-150. Also want to use this device to dive into the world of RBAs but would also like to be able to use my standard tanks and clearomizers as well. Thanks in advance for your help and hoping to be very active in these forums.

for your price range I think the gus telescopic is good i think I paid around $150. also the atmizoo roller is really good and that around $150 as well. If your looking for something really cheap but good I hear the smok natural is a a great mechanical for the price. If you are thinking of the atmizoo or the gus I would go with the atmizoo I think the button is better and it has yet to give me a crappy connection like the gus will sometimes give.

Thanks for the reply! Will definitely be watching some YouTube reviews tonight on the 2 mods you mentioned. Very excited to be switching over to mechanicals soon, hopefully I will do some thorough research and end up with the right one, definitely going to test my patience though. Not very good at waiting.

No problem also welcome to the forum. The waiting game will test you patience I know vaperev has these mods and more but IMO are a little steep on prices. The other option is going to a website from oversees and waiting a little longer for shipping/ whenever they get the mods in stock. I went with a website called finnvape for my gus and I used the atmizoo website for the roller. The big thing with mechanicals is how do you like your button and what their voltage drop is. I found that the roller has the least voltage drop out of the ones i mentioned. Either way no matter ehat you end up with I think youll like the mechanicals. But def research it cause there are more out there in your price range.

Is vaperev a website because I can't seem to find it? Nevermind found it! Thanks so much for the help!

it's cool we are all new to it at some point. The dingo is like a gg stealth so it will only use 18350 batteries and no kick unless you buy the other tubes, the roller is a telescopic so it can use 18350, 18490/18500, 18650, or 18350/18500 with a kick. The dingo can be made into a roller with a roller tube but at that point unless you want an 18350 mod I would do the roller. The other options are just the finishes so you have the roller ss-p which is polished stainless steel, the ss-m which is a matte finish stainless steel, the ss-im which is an ice matte finish it's kind of a darker matte maybe blueish it's different, then you have the ss-custom which is an option to choose which ever color parts you want. The polioshed is a fingerprint magnet so if you don't want to deal with that go with a matte finish.

Jimmyhat I really appreciate all the knowledge you have lent me so far. Sitting here at work I cant stop thinking about picking up an IHybrid. Do you think the IHybrid would be ok for my first non-electronic and my first dive into RBA's? I think it might be worth it to dish out the money now instead of buying something else and then ending up buying an IHybrid anyway because I know how I am and that's what will prob end up happening

Yeah the I hybrid is a great mod it has pretty Mich the same setup as the zenesis atomizer wise but it has almost no voltage drop and the new switch is pretty good. A lot of people say they are easy to set up but to me it was one of the more difficult ones to get perfect because it's delivery of power is so great. If your a first timer I think the zenesis is a much easier hybrid to learn on and the fact it comes set up from the factory with extra pre rolled oxidized wicks is even better. I know electronicstix.com had some minis and sidewinders left. I will say the quality of the Zen is better and the size is easier yo handle but the ihybird is more efficient with power delivery, the switch works better and they are more sought after. I do think the dive to a hybrid is a good choice I just think a Zen is a better idea for a beginner being that they are the easiest to set up well IMO.

I love the look of the ikarus, and the orion v2.... however the two places that make/carry them are out of stock. I will probably be picking one or the other up ASA they are available again.

They are both awesome mods I just ordered my second orion when 310 last had them, they problem with these two mods is that the center post for the positive wire is spring loaded which is kind of a pain when it comes to wrapping a coil. The new orion has apparently addressed this issue by providing an extra fixed post that resembles how most gennies center post is set up, however the orion switch is notorious for having issues, I sold my first orion before I had anything happen but things like this are also something to look into.
