Hey folks,

This is the first mod I was not too ashamed of to post

I made a fairly successful usp pass through and a pretty getto 14500 copper mod before working on this one. This is pretty straight forward and I dont think anything anyone her has not seen before but this one is mine :) Please excuse the nasty soldering on the batt connection, getting a nice clean hole on the tin box was harder then I thought. My less then proffesional soldering skills contributed to the mess as well.

18650 batt, 12 mil juice and room for 3 carts. I guess I am a moderate vaper so this setup gives me about 5 solid days of vaping totaly independent of the need for any other supplies. I can have the bottle with my primary and a couple extra carts for desserts, coffee or whatever.

This is my first time using a large battery and it really seems to vape differently. I am using it on boge lr carts and I am loving it!

Nice Job!!! Ya could even throw a few more Altoids in there too... Not that ya need them or anything like that.:?: Just sayin''...

Thanks for the comments, I am really enjoying the tin. Thanks for the switch tips as well, up till now I thought a switch was a switch lol.

The altoids tin is a wonderful platform. The only downside is that it is a little big if you don't have plans for the space. Easy access, readily available, cheap, and easy to work in. Nothing to remove or modify once the kings are gone, just a big open space. I will say that it is tricky to get a clean hole but possible.

The booster is certainly something I am looking at. I have only been vaping for 2 months now and been modding a few days and I already have quite a list lol. Today I made a 14500 copper and messed it up pretty good. One of the legs on the switch contacted the body and killed the batt. Thankfully the protection circuitry did its job. I am laying off copper for a while. After that I made a very successful 2 AA box with a charging port. That one came out fantastic and ill post that one up too

yeah i like the open the lid part,

i wired and put in the display last as i could not find out how since its a 2s-6s bigbutted chip, so that whent in last

i was thinking of cutting a window in the tin somewhere and get it seen on the outside but... once you set your voltage theres really no reason to look at it again and again imo... and this way keeps the tin looking good and not all cut up, lol it looks stock! nice!

so to findle or fandle just unscrew your carto or atty a lil bit and press the switch check volts out, and volts remaining and boom goes your dynamite,

i likes! iam thinking of getting the wife to cricut me out some manly designs from cardstock and use some contact paper to apply them, iam thinkin a covering up the backside, make the back side of the tin my design, and the front altoids stock,
