The anti-tobacco-company sentiment isn't only "what's in the juice?". It's the "big guys" getting control of this stuff, eliminating internet sales by....PAC $$$$... influencing congress and getting monopolies on e-juice. THAT is what I don't want to see happen.

It's not that I won't ever try blu (already have) or whatever the other co's stuff is called. As long as the market is allowed to remain competitive I'm OK with it. If "big corps" kill all other e-cig stuff....that's bad.

On the plus side...doesn't sound like e-juice will be outlawed anytime soon... but it needs to be available beyond BT's pre-filled carts at gas stations.

I understand why you feel having american tobacco companies enter the industry is a good thing, but I don't share your optimism. There's a good chance that they will continue (read: they're already doing it) to use their lobbying power to influence local, state, and federal governments to limit the market options in their favor. We're already seeing this with state legislation essentially being written by RJR that is meant to limit available flavor options and kill internet sales. While you might see their distribution channels as a good thing, they appear to be working to make those the only available channels and take over the market.

We need the continued presence of the smaller american companies in the market place to help with innovation and to improve our economy. Free market isn't free when the big boys make the rules.
You hit the nail right on the head. When BT was first starting to get their feet wet in the e-cig industry, I for a minute believed this might be good for us. It didnt take long for them to reveal their true colors. There is no reason to believe that the rest of BT will act any different then Reynolds. Its truely unbelievable that so many think all is well with this industry. There is so much evidence to suggest otherwise. Certainly everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just dont get it!
