aluminum/copper box mods vs wood mod(iron wood)

so i have been using tube mods for like almost a year now and i kinda want a box mod
i already decided that i'm going for a mechanical box mod
but the thing i haven't decided yet is would i go for a aluminum/copper or any other steel type box mod or a wood box mod
i just want to know what are the pros and cons like durability and life? (yes i know this is kinda stupid to ask)
or are they just the same when you vape on them..or does the material of the box mod have an effect on the vapor?? i'm currently using a smpl mod

Both materials can last a life time if you take care of them.
