I have searched options in the settings menu high and low, but I cannot find the area that allows me to paste my "quit data" banner anywhere. Could someone please give me a gentle nudge in the right direction?

I think you have to have 15 posts before that option will be available to you.

Ah, thanks so much for the reply. I guess I will have to find thread in which I can make meaningful contributions, as I'm assuming spamming 11 more posts would be frowned upon.

Yes, spamming for post count is generally frowned upon. Just find a thread with a lot of activity, introduce yourself and start interacting with others. Now that you have 5 posts you can participate in other areas of the forum. GL!

When you reach 15 posts, just go to settings and under MY SETTINGS there is a link to "Edit Signature".

There are but hunting down all spammers is generally frowned upon by the law.

Well, Dan, its like this you see, I joined in 2010, been vaping for almost 2 years ((Oct is anniversary)). My post count is 38, I don't chit chat, even though I'm a veteran here, too busy. So just reply to things that spark your interest, and you'll find your count does go up eventually

Hm, looks like 15 may not be the magic number.

It can take an hour or so after you reach the specified number of posts. The server whatzit has to update or some magical sort of thing like that.

I think the 15 post requirement has to do with preventing bots from creating activity on the forum.

You can also center you banner by using the margin tabs at the top of the edit signature window.
