Hemi-metal, poly alloy, which I'm guessing is different than just "metal".
"Mimetic poly-alloy, whose body is composed of liquid metal that allows it to assume the form of other objects (commonly knives and stabbing weapons) or people, typically terminated victims.
Just havin' fun, not pokin' nobody.
I enjoy these threads on a slow night, so thanks The Cloud Minder
I call mostly call cigarettes cigarettes, even on ECF but I really don't care what people call anything as long as I know what they're talking about.
The English language is changing. New words are added every year and old ones that have been out of common use long enough get dropped. Not all of this change is logical, nor is all of any language logical and I have no issue with that.
I also agree with Mark Twain on the following:
I don't see any use in having a uniform and arbitrary way of spelling words. We might as well make all clothes alike and cook all dishes alike. Sameness is tiresome; variety is pleasing.

I say harrumph to you sir.
Now Now Now........don't get your undies in a knot! LOL
Oh Rocketpunk, I totally missed your post saying pretty much everything I said before I said it. I kinda skipped to the end after reading a few posts. Sorry about that.
I knew a gal here in California who hated the word 'moist' too. Weird. Honestly, I can't think of any word or words I really hate. I don't really understand the concept, except in the context of ancient Magick or mystic religions, where certain words are imbued with supernatural powers. Which, being just an internet forum about e-cigs, probably doesn't apply.
Joy Electric? Not sure, kind of rings a bell but I'd have to look it up. Not something in my collection, though.
rbry - Very kind of you to say so, thanks.
COMMANDO ...
Another funny Arnold comedy.
Pah, you think you are all Gungan Style.
Was that a Wookie reference or a Korean pop music reference? At any rate, I don't really feel like I'm either one...
Lol no you are not the only one

My ... Aren't we sensitive? I appreciate you responding, and I really can't view my reply to you as rude. All I was trying to say, in not the long way that I was avoiding previously, and I thought, with humor, is that if you begin stretching words all out of context of their established meanings, you render the process of defining words meaningless, and the assigning words to specific things pointless. Logic dictates that every impulse should be about making language more precise to eliminate misunderstanding and facilitate communication.
As far as you getting bent out of shape over my reply, ... well, that's your karma man, not mine.
