I think what iI would like to see is a top filling tank thats affordable. Maybe there's one out there I haven't see. If so let me know. I may buy it.
kanVape e-cigarette and vape gear

This is a clone of Holy Land mods KS tank. It is a single coil RTA that is top fill, is low profile and has a huge capacity (7ml).

If you use the 25OFFTOBECO code it's under $20 (as opposed to over $100 for an authentic)

For me personally, Vaping is Freedom from 40 years of Tobacco Use. I breathe better, sleep better, eat better (have extra 30 pounds to back that up) and have more energy and am far more productive thanks to Vaping. Much like the Tobacco Pipes I used to smoke, I am a 'Puffer' or a Mouth-To-Lung Vaper. I enjoy a light, easy vape.
For me personally, Vaping is NOT an Olympic Event, and I really couldn't care less about your 'Cloud Size'. I recently traded a new Reos LP/SP Grand and RM5 for a ProVari P2 and an Original Svoemesto Kayfun just because I really found no enjoyment in dual coils or sub-ohming. It was, for me; too hot, left my throat raw and aggravated my sinus allergies, and changed the way my favorite e-liquids taste. I spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years because I HAD TO SMOKE, and I refuse to vape in a manner I am not totally comfortable with.
I run five Various Reos Mods, four have RM2's and one BF Veritas, and Two ProVaris with Kayfuns. Using either a 5/64 or a 3/32 drill bit, I wrap my own coils. I think I might have a few old pictures.

I am quite comfortable with this vaping style. It wasn't that long ago we were all sucking on drip atomizers and Cartomizers. Which had their own coils in the bottom. Yes, Vaping is still in it's Evolutionary Stage. But sometimes, as I peruse the ECF, I am left to wonder am I the only dinosaur left who is NOT chasing clouds?

As the Title says, Am I the Only One who still Prefers a Single Coil ?
It depends on the atty for me honestly. I use a Sapor which is strictly dual and a Mephisto V1 which I run in single coil mode. Its like the single is my "sit at the house and relax" similar to smoking a good cigar at the end of the day. Nice and smooth, easy to deal with. Just me personally.

I to prefer single coils. Smoked tobacco 40+ years and since coming here in june of this year had made a decision to quit. I now have a few different tanks to try out with builds. I would prefer a smaller single coil tank, engineered for that purpose only. Instead I see many dual setups with blocking off one side or the other Just speaking of what I've seen lately as I'm sure some new rta/rda's will be out soon with only single coil builds.

Youre not alone.

I still use single coil 3ohm prepunched cartos at 5 volts.

An RDA called the 'Achilles' came out not to long ago, maybe a year (?) ago. It has a deep juice well, and is designed for a tight air draw directly across a single coil. I know of a couple of vapers who have put down their Kayfun clones and started up with the Achilles.
I personally prefer the RM2, but that's because I love the durability of the Reos Grand.

Dave, Pops is right. Here is an RDA designed for single coil only. It kicks ....!

I still like single coils too. Dual are OK, but takes more time to build, and they are a little tricky on my KayfunV4. I have found a spot where I am comfortable using 22ga Kanthal single coil at about .4ohms, running at 30 watts on my MVP 3.0. It gives me a great flavor, and the clouds are pretty good. I am the type that needs to feel and see it, or it did not happen, so this is the best of both worlds for me.

Yes they seem quite similar. I have no idea who was first but it is a great atty imo.
Love the air management at the coil, excellent fit and finish and a very sensible price.
I'm pretty sure the Achilles came out first. It's been around awhile. But that Mini Drip also looks high quality and I'm guessing it has a wider airflow range than the Achilles. The Achilles has a range between low and lower. :) I looked at that Mini Drip about 8 months ago. There is another one similar with the high air post in the center but I can't remember the name of it.

The smallest AFC hole is 1mm and the largest 2.5mm.
I tend to use the three smallest positions FWIW.
The AFC ring stays where you put it.

The Chels MicroDrip MicroDrip (shipping in 2 weeks) - Mini ECIG is an awesome little atty too. :D

I have an achilles but the rda I keep using is a Tugboat v2 clone which I build with a single coil. The achilles is taller than the Tugboat. For me shorter is better. When temp control is available in a side by side mod for an affordable price the height issue goes away. In the mean time I wish I could get a Tugboat style rda with 2 posts where the wires are trapped under the screw heads similar to the Achilles. The extra space would be nice for my 11-13 wrap titanium coils which seem to be giving me temp control with energy efficiency similar to what I get with with 7-8 wraps of kanthal.
