I guess I'm saying I never head much talk about terrible/rancid juice coming MVB. I started ordering because of their fast shipping and prices and all the recommendations from the board. But I'm not saving any money if 25% of every shipment is unvapable or very little money. To get one bottle out four unvapable is something I hadn't expected,

Fair enough. Good luck in your search. MVB is ONE of the vendors I use. My search continues too.

MBV juices in particular need to steep and air out, more so than any others I've tried. They can get surprisingly good even when they are horrid right out of the mailbox.

Let them sit, occasionally shaking them and squeezing to replace the air. I haven't found a one that doesn't get a lot less nasty. Not to say they all get great, though....

Like any liquid vendor, there will be hits and misses. MBV has many fans and many detractors, and I think that can be said about most liquid vendors. I find their menthols to be pretty good and a good value, but at their prices I don't expect them to be best of breed. I've found a number of other flavors need to be steeped with the top off for a while to lose some of the unpleasant overtones, but most are at least representative.

Anybody's liquid review is a very subjective opinion, and I've learned they are pretty useless for me. Some of the most highly touted, expensive liquid has been a costly disappointment for me as well.

bingo! I would think low sales volume and in house quality control would find the misses before I spend money on them...I'm sure the "hits" outsell the "misses" 10 to 1. I wouldn't dare buy Mango tea from anybody but MVB, banana too is good

Steeping may very well help. Friday before last I got in Death by Chocolate and Maple French Toast from Virgin Vapors. I have bought quite a number of juices at this point and most benefit from steeping and age but both of these were absolutely disgusting!

The chocolate tasted exactly like burning tires and I can't even describe the nastiness from the french toast! After heating and shaking and airing out for the last week the chocolate is BECOMING vapable...but not there yet. The french toast is better but still nasty as crap.

I'm hoping they both come around because both got rave reviews on YT.

Am I the only person that gets juice that is unvapable from MVB? I must be! The tropical fruit is terrible! The afternoon delight is also pretty bad! I suggest you read the reviews about the juice your thinking about buying before you buy. Those reviews may open your eyes. The last two times I've bought from them I ended up with a bottle each time of unusable juice. That tropical fruit tasted and smelled like some kind of chemical perfume!

No. You're not the only one.

Mt Baker Vapor e Juice Review #1

I guess it's not all crap.

^^In response to that, I'll just copy and paste this cautionary statement that ECF puts at the top of the E-liquid reviews page in bold yellow color:
"CAUTION: 1. Some reviews are paid for by the vendor and therefore may not represent a truly independent view of the product. In some cases they are a form of advertising - and adverts don't tell you what is wrong with the product.
2. Reviewers' websites may contain affiliate links, and an enthusiastic review might lead you to click a link and then purchase the product. This results in paying a fee to the reviewer (called an affiliate commission). While most reviews may be accurate and independent, we cannot guarantee this is always the case.
3. E-Liquid reviews are entirely subjective. You may get different results. If you follow a reviewer with similar tastes to your own, you may get a more satisfactory outcome."

I've actually bought from many vendors, due to some glowing reviews on these boards, before I ever read that:facepalm: lol :)

Good grief... Try steeping the juice for a while. Leave the cap off for a couple days then shake it up really well, let it sit for another week cap on shaking daily. If its still bad after that, don't order from them again. Everyone's tastes are different. Also, who is MVB? Everyone keeps talking about MBV, but the OP and a few others are clearly talking about MVB.

Yes, I did....I ordered because they came recommended here on this board. The first time I ordered and got one 50 ml bottle that was unvapable and because the other the other three bottles were good, I thought it was a fluke. Second order, same way, one bottle of juice was bad. Both had heavy chem smell and tasted bad. Tropical Fruit smelled like hair dye! I'm to the point where I only order mvb juice that I KNOW is good and will read the reviews before I buy mvb from now on. The reviews can give me a snapshot of how the "satisfaction rate" is going.....mango tea, banana, Ocean breeze, strawberry, are known good juices for me....afternoon delight and tropical fruit are poison in my book....I ordered 50ml of coconut before I read the reviews, I may have a problem when the coconut arrives....the reviews for coconut sounds like the reviews for tropical fruit.....and I know tropical fruit is bad....it's funny cause I read Ocean breeze taste like coconut to some people, me too actually....I got three flavor shots added to the 50 ml of coconut coming, I don't normally do extra flavor shots, I hope it's good stuff and not chemmy or perfumy.....

"Get your juice from Heather's Heavenly Vapes. No perfume, no chemical, no floral., no lab. Tastes exactly what it says it tastes like"

I'm gonna try that!

You are adding 3 flavor shots and expecting it NOT to taste perfumey/chemically right out of the mail? C'mon now. Be real. Your Join Date suggests you know better. In fact your entire OP is contradictory to your Join Date. You should know this stuff by now. I have liquids from premium vendors that are sitting because they need aging time.

There are people who have been here less than two weeks and know that many liquids need steeping.

my oh my, what an intelligent, well thought out and written post..... yawn.gif

afternoon delight is pretty popular with some. i don't know haven't tried it. there is a whole thread in which you can ask peoples opinions BEFORE you order and get tips once you receive your juice. one of the owners, James, has his own thread in the suppliers section. MBV provides outstanding customer service, did you check if you could get your problems addressed?

each juice can taste different to different people. most juices need to steep and flavor shots effect steeping. guess it's just easier to whine...

*heads off to start an "all people from mcallen texas must be rude and in need of attention thread"*

as a note to that, i used to swear i needed 2 flavor shots, i like my juices strongly flavored. I found dropping them to 1 makes the taste MUCH more enjoyable, and reduces the steep time. There are some that swear by their 5 shots. taste really is subjective :) Out of the countless mbv juices i've had, only 3 went in the trash, and im about 100% positive those happen to be juices made with alcohol based flavorings, which I personally just do not tolerate well.

I tried out MBV and wasnt hooked. I get that they have a lot of unique flavors but overall none of them seem to wow me. I purchased about 10 different flavors, in different pg/vg blends along with different flavor shot combos. The two I was looking forward to-- extreme ice and black currant were both garbage. Ive now had them close to 2 months and they are still unvapeable. Ive steeped with caps off for days, shook everyday for first 2 weeks, revisited them in tanks to see if they vaped different than they smelled. No luck.

Hawk sauce was okay, but not stellar like the reviews say. Its a berry cherry sour (zero menthol) blend. Same with thug juice, no menthol to speak of and it just tasted sour tart citrusy. No real flavors to speak of. I really dont want to rant, but I feel like people are looking for either the cheapest juice available, or had been looking for a unique flavor for so long they just tell themselves mbv is great.

That being said, their red licorice is alright. It kills my coils super fast, but on a fresh coil its not bad. It has a thick background to it that doesnt mess with the taste, but its not my cup of tea.

i'd call it being pretentious, it's not really a rant. a rant might actually have some meaning to it. that's more just you looking down on other people. it happens to insecure and/or needy people a lot.

it's OK, we understand! spread-love-with-hugs.jpg

So just skimming over the posts here.
I mean that's apparently what others do with our MBV posts
that talk about the importance of steeping, shaking, and the
fact that some order their juices a month ahead of time to give
juices plenty of time to age..........
What I am gathering from the skimming of posts is us MBV
juice fans are delusional because the juices are cheap, or we
don't know a good juice from a bad juice, or we're getting
paid off in some way.
Cool.
I don't like something that someone else likes I'm not about
to make generalized statements that the entire company sucks.
They have hundreds of juices to chose from and I don't like
all they have, but like many and love lots of them.
You don't like them here's a tip - go pay $1/ml somewhere else,
more for ME and my peeps who do LOVE MBV juice.

Like any liquid vendor, there will be hits and misses.

I used to think that

out of the first 10 vendors Ive tried I order from none now

most of them were more misses then hits

but Ive found lately more hits then misses

Ahlusion like 99% hits
Nickoticket the same

there are some others I order from now that are like 75% hits also
