I got this from The Digital Cig today.

Protank Killer???????????

That is rite a tank named "Protank Killer" and guess what. It is made rite here in the USA. A fine group of people over in San Clamente California has designed their own version of the Protank. Every part including the coils are made in America. Magnavape maker of this tank is the first American company to manufacture a clearomizer on US soil, which is great and hopefully the start of many more stepping up to take on this industry.
These should be available any day now and include the coil and tank. You will need to use your own drip tip or purchase one separately. These tanks are a true 4.5ml system and they offer a single coil running at 2.4ohm's. The nice thing about the design is that it will also accept Protank 2 coils from Kangertech. The company is just getting in to mass production of these but from what we hear coils should be no issue getting a hold of within 20 days.

Well looks like this is currently available, but they only sell wholesale in lots of 10. I went through 10 of their listed vendors and none had them.

The Pro Killer is the first 100% American Made Bottom Feed Cleromizer. Everything including the wick is machined, cleaned with our medical grade ultrasonic cleaners and assembled in our clean room all in San Clemente, Ca.

The Pro Killer is only available in 10 packs at this time. So if you order a quantity of 1 you will get 10 Pro Killers

I guess if someone wanted to take the plunge and buy 10 and have some sort of co-op.

Judging only by the pictures, I'm not a fan. I"m an old toolmaker, and know how to run a good knurl...and these guys, according to the picture, can't do it right. It looks as if tey are running the knurl with old wheels, which is evident in the way that no two tank tops look the same.

I'll wait for someone here to buy one and review it before I go and spend money on shoddy looking work...just my $0.02

It gives each one personality. LOL

So this would only be a cosmetic thing correct??? Do you see anything else in the manufacturing proecees that would raise a red flag??? I am ready to order one.

At this moment, it's purely a cosmetic issue. It appears that the parent company is Magnavon Industries, which makes tooling for the aircraft manufacturing industry. Those tools are decent quality, no doubt. I'm hoping that those pictures were of prototypes and first run for QC instead of what is shipped to the customer.

Post pictures of it and all of it's parts when it comes in...I'd love to see them.

Will do. I will be doing a full review. I have heard the guy behind these is an aerospace engineer. That can't be a bad thing.

Tap'd from my LG G2

I don't know about being an aerospace engineer...but I know what Magnavon used to do, which was make drills, grinders, riveters and such for the aerospace industry. It's my understanding that the current CEO, Kevin Crump, listed on LinkedIn as the Mastermind of MagnaVape, is attempting to break into the vaping business with American made goods to bring the company back into the red. More power to him!! I'd love to see more American made parts in this industry. Heck, I'd love to see more American made parts in ANY industry.

They make their wicks in house? I think they mean atomizer heads, but I could be wrong. If they really are manufacturing their own silica, that could be interesting.

I do think an American company getting into the clearo game is a good idea. There are plenty who would prefer to buy American made goods. Hopefully they come out with some technological advances of their own though.
