I just received a sampler pack from americaneliquid. I was running low on what has become my daily vape (50/50 mix of DKCamel/RathEBacco), so I placed an order a couple of days ago with these guys and just received the order today...

* Virginia Flu Cured
* tobacco
* Blackberry Champagne
* Black Cherry
* Keoke Coffee
* Butter Run

All 12mg VG.

I must say that my initial reaction is somewhat disappointing :(

First off, upon opening the envelope, there was a strong odd chemical smell. At first I thought one of the bottles must have sprung a leak in there to account for the strength of the smell. Upon closer inspection, nothing had busted open. I really wasn't sure what was responsible for that smell, but it's not at all enticing.

Edit: First impressions are not always the best thing to go on. I was really thrown off by the odd scents coming out of the envelope. After actually vaping some of these juices, I now understand that those scents were some of the more volatile spirits in the flavorings (perhaps some of the essential oils mentioned in their FAQs) in these juices permeating the dropper bottles and circulating in the envelope.

The liquids do indeed have lots of tasty flavor.

Then upon examining the dropper bottles, I notice that all but one of them contains INCREDIBLY thick liquid. I mean really thick, like syrup. Its hard to imagine how this stuff will wick. All but the Butter Rum are super thick like that.

Then I opened them to smell them. Definite volatile chemical scents to all of them (so I guess that is what was responsible for the smell in the envelope). There are flavor scents underneath those chemical wiffs, but the cherry smells like a neon cough syrup? The best smelling one is the Butter Rum.

The flavor I was most interested in trying was the Flu Cured, I haven't tried a Flu Cured flavor yet, and I've heard so much about it that I was hoping to find a replacement for my daily vape in that bottle of Flu Cured. But really, I can't even identify it as a tobacco flavor at all. I'm not sure what the flavor in that bottle is trying to be like, but I definitely can't use it as a daily vape. The liquid is so thick that the draw is super hard too.

Honestly, I'm somewhat wary to try these liquids in any appreciable amount. The chemical wiffs really spook me? I'm not vaping them now for example, I'm sticking with my rapidly diminishing 50/50 Ebacco/Camel blend at the moment.

My experience with liquids is VERY limited. The only other liquids I have tried are...
* Rath Ebacco and Lemonade (VG)
* Dekang Camel, Orange, Pepsi, Cappuccino (PG and PG-free? (but not VG))
* The Marlb mix that comes in pre-filled carts

These americaneliquids are very unlike the others that I've tried, and not in a good way really. The Rath liquids are great, really nice subtle flavors in a good VG base. The DK flavors are OK, but not great. I'm not sure what to make of these new juices.

Has anyone else ordered from this place, what was your experience like, anything like mine, is this just how juices are and when i do vape them they'll actually be OK?

Also, any recommendations for where to get a decent Flu Cured juice that really is representative of the Flu Cured flavor that people seem to like so much? I'm gonna run out of my staple in the next day or two, so I gotta do something real soon now.

I guess next time I take a chance, I'll take a chance on more of a known quantity by way of favorable reviews... the likes of...

* eLiquidPlanet's Essence
* Tasty Vapors
* ECOpure
* Halo
* Rath
* Johnson's Creek
* JuicyLiquid
* BASIC
* Ms Ts

Oh well... live and learn...
Edit: to not jump to hasty conclusions.

I have had nothing but great experiences with them but their VG is REALLY thick and I don't think my cartomizers like it too much, sometimes ill get the burnt taste and pop one open and it still looks full, I think the liquid doesn't always make its way down when I fill them. I have tried their PG versions as well and in my opinion those taste better. If you have a problem with anything just email don over there and trust me he will take care of you. If you find a flavor you like you can't beat the 60mls for $30. This is my personal favorite liquid supplier.

Ok, that's a really good endorsement, I'll give all of them try. So for the only one i've vaped is the Flu Cure, can't say that I like that one really. Maybe the Butter Rum, it does smell the best of the bunch, and thankfully its thinner than the others.

I think to really vape most of these, I'm gonna have to thin them down with something (maybe distilled water + PGA), but since I only got 12mg that thinning is really gonna cut into the already low nic level.

Oh... yum... the Butter Rum really is quite nice. Very thick and very tasty vapor indeed!!!! This particular juice in my sample pack is not so thick and the draw on my ecig is about perfect. My atty and me are very happy with this one.

My initial comments were definitely hastily made and I really am regretting them very much. I'll be back to say more about the other flavors once I've actually tried them too.

G'night, I've got a little more Butter Rum to sip, then I'm off to bed.

Hey Jeff, I'm in Ogden too. Been vaping since last June, when I bought an ecig from the Pilot station on 12th St.

If you want to buy from Jason at Electro-Nic-Stix, just get his phone number from the contact info page at his website and arrange to pick up. He works out of his house and would probably just ask you to stop by.

I've tried AmericaneLiquid's Butter Rum, Keoke Coffee, and the English Toffee. All three are fantastic.....good flavor, throat hit, and clouds of vapor!

Their customer service can't be beaten either. The post office lost my original order even though it had a tracking number. I contacted Don to see if he could somehow chase it down from his end and he did an incredible thing! He replaced the order with no charge to me and I had it three days later.

It's always great to find a fantastic product that is backed up by incredible customer service! :)

Here are a couple of Flue Cured juices that I've tried and liked:

My favorite:
LiquidXpress
Honey Flue Cured Tobacco E-Liquid

Another one:
Flue Cured (Kanger, I think)

Well just wait till you try the blackberry champagne! Yes it is pretty thick but my attys love this stuff, a few good drops of that vapes me for way more than many other juices, probably because it's thick actually. Oh and the flavor on the BB champagne is amazing!

I haven't tried them all yet, but of the ones I have, they all make a pleasingly thick cloud of vapor and at 12mg I get virtually no throat hit (I didn't expect ant at 12mg).

:thumb: Butter Rum
A vaporous piece of candy, wow! Silky luscious vapor. Near zero throat hit.

:thumb: Blackberry Champange
Wonderfully decadent taste! Slightly more throat hit than the Butter Rum. But for me, the cart didn't last very long, probably has a lot to do with me power vaping thru it like crazy.

:thumb: Keoke Coffee
Sumptuous coffee flavor. Again slightly more TH than the Butter Rum.

:nah: FluCured
I just don't get how this flavor relates to tobacco? Closer to cotton candy. Too thick to vape comfortably (fish face galore). It's too bad since I got a 15ml bottle of this one in particular, and only 10ml bottles of the others :( The flavor is actually not bad, its just not at all what I was expecting (something tobacco'y).

So I think I finally understand why people rave about vaping flavors so much. These juices are magnificient.

PS. Gee, in your avator pic, your radiant hair looks like it smells terrific ;-)

Thanks for the link. I'm going to order a sampler. Is the Keoke coffee sweet? I've tried coffee flavors and want to like them but I need some cream and sugar. If it is even slightly sweet I'll like it.

Yes, it is sweet. Its not plain coffee, here's a recipe for actual Keoke Coffee...

1/2 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
1/2 oz creme de cacao
1/2 oz Christian Brothers® brandy
4 oz coffee
1 1/2 oz whipped cream

... I've never had actual Keoke Coffee, but I imagine it tastes pretty close to what I'm vaping now ;)

LOL! I thought at first you posted a juice recipe!!

I was like, "Geez, that's gonna clog your atty!"
LoL :D Just wanted to stop in and put in another :thumb: for AELS They were the first place I went for VG. This was last year when VG was allot harder to find. They've been great to deal with and have some great flavors. Blackberry is my everyday vape. I mix it with a little ~20-30% Rath strawberry cream to ease it up just a bit. I call it snozzberry, because I'm too lazy to come up with an original name :p

Ok, I've tried them all now...

:thumb:Tobacco
Pleasing, but a little different. This one is not sweet. I find it earthy alfafa'y, and with a bit more throat hit than the others. This didn't hit the spot for me as the "one" tobacco flavor that i'm searching for, but it isn't bad (and this way my search for the "one" gets to continue, lucky me).

:nah: Black Cherry
I don't like this one. Tastes medicine'y to me.

:) FluCured Ameretto Soaked Cookie
Revised opinion. This flavor actually is good, but it tastes more like an ameretto soaked cookie to me than anything having to do with tobacco. Go fiigure.

Overall, the tobacco flavors from this shop don't do it for me, but their other flavors really opened my eyes to what else is out there in the wonderful world of vaping. These are the tastiest vapes I've had thusfar. The Butter Rum and Blackberry Champagne are astounding with the Keoke Coffee right on their heals. The VG is super thick, but the draw is a little harder is all. I could see mixing some of their PG and VG blends together.

I'll expect I'll be back for more from these guys. Possibly real soon to get PG based juices to do that mixing :)

Hey VaporMadness, yeah well I have a friend who does my hair who's been complaining for years that my hair smells like an ashtray...but no more! Thus the name, the nasty ash everywhere and the smell that I couldn't even smell was my final motivator to quit the analogs.
I'm glad you tried the other flavors, they are really yummy stuff and a good example of what vaping flavors has to offer. You've also motivated me to try a bottle of flue cured in my next order, I'm not big on tobacco flavors but all your odd little descriptions of this taste have me intrigued!
Enjoy!

Well who wouldn't like amaretto soaked cookies! I hope you like it.

Yeah, I figured your username was a reference to leaving the bad smelling smoke behind, and please give my compliments to your hair dresser friend :|
