Hello all,

First Thread here...

I am wondering about flavor. I currently have 5 CE4 type Clearo's. None are rebuildable as they are the cheap kind. I also have a couple of Kanger Mini Pro 2's with some joyetech 900mah Twists coming as well as an innokin VTR w/ iClear30s.

I can't wait to try out the mini's, and especially the iClear30s, but I am not sure how much more flavor I should expect to see. I know the CE4's are know to subdue flavor, I just can't fathom how much.

I started on BluCigs about a year ago and it wasn't enough to get me through the tough times that were ahead of me.
So far, I am completely happy with the CE4's. The ones that work at least.

How much more flavor would I get through a drip atty on the VTR? On a scale from 0 - 100, where would your put the CE4's, the mini's, the Iclear30's and the drip atty's?

Awesome Baditude. On the iClear 30, are you referring to the B model or the S model that comes with the VTR? I hear that they are quite different.

Also, I love your avatar! It's kind of where I was going.
I have a Protank 1 and 2 (not that impressed, but better than CE4). My iClears are the original iClear 30 - I've not had the opportunity to try the iClear 30S or 30B. I would imagine they are better than the original. I liked the original model enough to purchase a few of them.

I'm not much of a dripper. I consider it a ritual and an artform which I've not yet perfected nor given enough practice to. I personally find it to be somewhat inconvenient for day to day use, but I do like dripping to sample flavors before commiting an entire tank to a flavor.

After further thought, I edited my previous rating for a cartotank to an 80 - 85 after reading subdivision's comment. Afterall, cartotanks are my primary juice attachment. They provide great flavor and vapor, and are very consistant with hardly any maintanance.

Cool. The protank mini's will hopefully be my daily on the go vape if they work out well. On the iClear 30's, the one thing that I keep hearing on all of the video reviews of the VTR is that the iClear30S is way better than the original or even the 30B. The downside is that while the coil is replaceable, it is NOT rebuildable because of the way that they designed it. Oh well. I was looking forward to that.

I now need to find a good drip set-up, for home relaxation settings.

Thanks for the experienced info everybody.

What tanks in your experience are bad about flooding?

Any bottom coil tank is prone to flooding. Usually when the juice level gets down to about where the gasket on the chimney is it can tend to flood. When there's more air in the tank it can cause a pressure difference which can push liquid into the coil area and thus leak down into the top of the battery connector. This would happen to me a lot in the summer when I'd go from a nice air conditioned place out into the hot sun. The solution is to fill it when it starts getting low.

Another way is when you hit the thing like a cheap cigar and the air flow through the device causes it to suck excess liquid into the coil. Solution?? Learn to hit the vape correctly. Longer drag with less force.

I started out with bottom coil tanks and love them, especially since I've started rebuilding my coils and wicking with cotton, but they're not perfect and you have to get used to the little quirks they have.

Top coils are a different story. I only have an Iclear 30 because it came with my MVP. I tried it out and I'll admit it has good flavor and a warmer vape but the wicks need to be kept wet by tilting the device when the fluid gets low or it'll get a burnt taste. Everything has a plus or minus.

I started into the realm of carto tanks from reading Baditude's posts and it is as care free a vape that you'll find. Great flavor and vapor, just a little bit of a learning curve. Although it seems everything in vaping has a learning curve. If it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing.

I guess its time to go research Carto's. The nice thing for me so far is that with the 1.6ml clearo's that I use have been getting me through the brunt of a day. I keep an extra head with me with a diff. flavor in case I run out or get tired of what I have in my current tank, but most times, it's been care free vaping without having to really change tanks often if at all until I get home.

It just seems that some tanks work better than others, and the Juices that I have seem to lack flavor. This is with CE4 cheapo's. Thanks for the info though. It is greatly appreciated.
