AMP XL vs Ego

Its been awhile since I have been on the forum and now I find myself lost. I have been looking at the AmpXL from Vapor9(had good luck with there products in the past) but I can't tell if it is just an 808 version of the ego. If so I don't know that I want to pay the price difference. I guess what my question is what is the generic name for this? Thanks for any help.

They look like an 808 fat bat with cone threads, so basically an 808 version of the Ego. Personally, if you want 808 I would go with a Volt x2 from Smokeless Image (I have one from their original run that still works fine) or an Igo from Nhaler. I just don't know enough about vapornine and those seem pricey.

I guess my question would be...why 808? Unless you have a lot of 808 stuff you don't want to give up, get an Ego (or one of the clones) because there are so many more options and vendors who sell the options for it.

I have quite a bit of 808 stuff left from a few years ago, I was mainly looking at that because I really liked their turbo cartos, but it has been a few years since I have used anything. But want to try to kick the analogs again. I will look into the ones you mentioned. I see alot of different models of ego -c -t eroll ecab ect.....are any better than the other.

For ego/510 threaded stuff, I always stuck with the Joye stuff. As far as what is best, in that range an Ego Twist is a pretty safe bet.

If you want 808 stuff, I would say the Smokeless Image stuff. They have 650-1300mah Auto and Manual as well as Spinners (VV) plus they are active on here and you can probably find a coupon code in their supplier forum.

I ordered one of the ones from Smokeless Image. Was about the same price as vapor 9 cause I didn't see and X2 kit. But the auto sold me. Thanks for your help. Now I just have to figure out the clearos.
