I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these but there hasn't been much talk it lately. Does that mean everybody is happily vaping away? I bought the Reomizer when it first came out and was happy with it for awhile but then....so is everyone still happy with the 2.0?

Love them Terry sold 2 ERA's and 2 Surface rba's I now own 3 and running silica in all of them but many others are running the Nextel stuff, ekowool, and SS mesh they work beautifully and Rob will turn them down to fit ANY Reo:vapor:

I raved about it when I first got one, bit my tongue for a while so as not to "gush" over it, then raved about it some more. I have 2 of them. I've tried ERA's, A7's, most everything except a chalice. It's sturdy, easy to recoil, hard to flood, and vapes better than any other atomizer I've ever had.

I still rave about them given any little excuse, they're so far above the rest of what I've tried, there just isn't any comparison. I've been using them for around a month and if the shine were going to wear off, it would have by now.

buy one and try it, I haven't seen a negative post about one yet.

ETA: I'm using silica for the wicks. I've got some ekowool (sp?), and I'll try that when this current wick/coil fizzles on me, but nearly 4 weeks on the same wick and coil so far. It's probably degrading slowly, but I find it still quite exceptional.

Thanks Ancient. Doesn't the silica mute the flavor? I want to use silica but it always has muted the flavor so I've been using cotton in my other RBAs.

Thanks. What is this ekowool and where do you get it and why are you using it instead of silica?

The cotton is fine Terry. I do like it's flavor better than the silica but find in the RM2 the silica is doing well. A little less flavor, but not too much.

I like cotton because I can taste the sweet in my juice where with silica I can't but cotton burns up so fast so I'd really like to find a good silica that makes my juice taste like it's suppose to.

Love them and I have or have had several type RBAs. Not saying I’ll get rid of my Killers and macARBS but these are by far the easiest to coil and good looking at that and not prone to shorting. I have two already and have a brass milled down for Mini, a Chrome milled down for Mini, and a brass regular coming any day. Not sure if they will fit my Mini Woodvil catch cups but torched Killers and macARBs will be substituted if necessary.

I haven't tried the Nextel yet but I've been using Ekowool for the last week or two and am more than pleased with it. The wick is actually lasting longer than my coils. Flavor is outstanding, certainly as good as with cotton, and vapor production is as good as anything I've tried.

Wicking capability is beyond anything else and for some reason always holds enough liquid to negate dry hit problems, warning you well in advance with reduced flavor or vapor. (Nextel may do the same thing but I don't have any experience with it.)

Two places to get Ekowool are Stormy's Vaper Cellar and Kindey puncher Vapes. (Stormy's is out of some of the sizes.) Take note that the 3mm size is considerably larger than 3mm, almost like two, 2.5 or 3mm strands welded side by side, it does have a hollow core however. It works very well in ERA/Reomizer type RBS's but is much too large for Killer, Oddy, etc., devices. The 2mm is much better for those applications. (The 3mm holds an incredible amount of juice between squonks.)

$2 a foot. That's really pricey.

It's certainly a lot more pricy than standard silica but so far I've found it to be worth the price. So far the pieces I've been using have lasted much longer than standard silica with no falloff in performance. I've replaced a coil twice so far with the same wick. It seems that a couple feet of it will last quite a while. (I buy all the different sizes because I like toys and playing with them.

We all missed out on the recent CO-OP, it went for less than $2 per meter and sold out very quickly,it's been delivered and so far everyone seems to be very satisfied with it... translation, no one wants to sell any of what they get and a lot of people bought 10 meters or more.

They may run another CO-OP for it in mid-June but a final decision hasn't been made yet. So far the only one I've talked to that really didn't like it has been Super_X_Drifter but he's a flatlander so you have to take his opinion with a grain of salt... or a whole truckload.

Ok, if it lasts as long as you say than it is worth the price. I'll consider it when I decide to pull the trigger. Thanks. :)

The RM2s are my favorite RBAs. I prefer them over my chalices.

I never used the eKowool I bought because I couldn't thread it thru a small gauge coil, so I can't comment in its performance. Cotton is my favorite today. :)

Right now I am running cotton in a mirco coil at .8 ohms, gonna save my goodie bag of wicks till my RM2 gets here :)

That's like saying you don't want Heidi Klum as a girlfriend because she wears bras with metal snaps instead of Velcro. Sometimes really good things are worth the extra effort.

See, I told ya he was a flatlander... strange animal indeed.

I always prefer bras with remote controls.

Having just tried both ecowool and nextel, I'm fairly impressed. Still no idea how they will hold up, but, from what I understand, Russ, the point is to not have to replace the wick quite as often.

I made my coils by sticking a syringe needle through the wick (the same needle I usually roll my micro coils on, about 1mm). Then roll the coil around that, install, and remove the needle. Wicking, flavor, and amount of vapor is very comparable to well seasoned cotton balls.

Now all I need is to convience Aunt Lydia to sell me a 500 yard spool for $3 :)
