I am going to torch an A7. I have two SS already, 3 more SS coming, and 2 blacks coming. I would love to take it to gold color and stop. Once I learn on that I'll do a SS ERA to gold.. And someone has done an A7. Besides they only cost $9. The REOmizer is not SS. I'm going to wait for someone reporting on REOmizer and pics before attempting if at all.

Alice, please post back after you do the A-7- I have one too and am very tempted, but since it's a split-in-half sort of RBA, only the top half can be torched. It would still look nice that way, I think!!

Bottom can be torched but you have to totally strip all parts, gaskets, o-rings, etc.

So I've had my RBA's for a few weeks now and loving them, but I have a slight problem with one of them.

the part were the drip tip goes in I've found will come out, I have a SS flat no problems with this happening on it, with my trippy tip though it comes off easily, any ideas on how to keep it on?

I read in one of the threads somewhere that we could wrap some thread around the groove m without tying a knot and the slipping the oring over it.

Kay I think he means his trippy fits so snug that it pulls the top off his Reomizer

Some of my DTs are extremely loose on ERA. I don't dare use a TT on it now until I can put thicker o-rings on. On the other hand, any that fit tightly on ERA are very hard to get into pre-built carto/atty. One of my newest Knuckleheads even comes off in my lips if I'm not careful. It's a for sure lose in purse situation or flip off and not find. I've already had that happen with one of my favorite TTs. It was lost for weeks and then Sissy Dog found it right before she sucked it up into vaccum cleaner. Gotta love Eagle Eyes.

I haven't bothered fiddling with DTs for fit in ERA because I have so many. And now days my favorite is the Knucklehead. And if I lose one of those I won't be driven to tears. I keep a spare tip in billfold with spare carto.

Oh yeah. Top cap of REOmizer coming off. Now I see why Robert said a drop of crazy glue. The top cap on my REOmizer just came off the other day, first time. It won't be a problem unless it is too loose. Toting it in purse will be the test. And it was a pretty tight fitting DT on it when I pulled top cap off.

I'm not going to permanently affix top cap until I decide whether to torch it or not. Waiting for someone else to do it first.

How does the ERA compare with the Reomizer? I had an ERA but sold it because it didn't fit my Woodvils at the time. So I didn't get to try it.

I can't tell any difference in the way they vape. If I did a test blindfolded, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart. But the Reomizer's posts are farther apart, so I find it easier to fit coils in. The posts on the ERA are pretty close....harder to get very many wraps in. But I only use about 4-5 wraps on my coils, so it's not really a problem. It seems like my drip tips fit the Reomizer better....but that could just be unique to the Reomizer and the ERAs I own. My drip tips all seem to be pretty loose on the ERAs. In fact, I put a little sliver of silicone (from a cut-up condom) down in the ERA to tighten them up. Otherwise they are easily knocked off in my purse.

I like a tighter draw so my favorite draw is the ERA. I love the simple lines of the REOmizer but, for now I 'm using a band snipped off of carto condom to partially cover the air hole. I really don't like the look, though. I just picked up Hornet today but haven't built a coil for it. I suspect the draw on Hornet will be same as ERA. Nice thing about Hornet is that it will fit all REOs. A7 is similarar draw to REOmizer but one hole above post thread can be closed with point of toothpick. I'm liking a smaller diameter coil, one toothpick diameter, so that coil will fit in any of them. Many of my DTs are loose on ERA and Hornet but not all. That's easy to fix but then those fixed DTs might be hard to get on and off other RBAs. May have to designate certain DTs for ERAs and Hornets.
