An e-pipe, or the parts to make one?

It doesn't have to be an expensive one.

I thought building one would be cool (I have some wood working and electronics experience). Where would one get the parts? I figured I could tear a cheap eGo down for the connector, regulator, ect... Maybe a shorty NO vandal switch. Here's the kicker, I've never even seen one in action! Any idea folks? Of course, if I build one, I will share the experience here.

So, on the parts side: Would a 16340 work? Does it really need to be regulated?
