An infinity carto question

I have a question for you ikenvape carto users. I have a 1st gen. Infinity and it seems to work ok generally, aside from the limitations of cartos I can use on it. I heard all the great things about ikenvape 801 fusions so I picked some up and I love them.. The problem is, they seem to work great for about 1 day, then they switch to only intermittently cut out. They cut out faster at higher voltages once this starts. At the lowest voltage they cut off after about 6 seconds, but at 4.5 volts they
Last about 1. It's weird because the first day I can get a good 7-8 seconds at 4.5. It's as if I'm using a lower resistance carto, but they're 2.5 ohm? I just want to find a good carto that will actually work on this machine. Anyone have any thoughts? I thought maybe it was like a safety if it got too dry or something, but I've tried adding juice etc. to no avail.

That sounds like the coils are shorting out in that carto ! to me

I use IKV 801 fusions on my Infinity all the time without problems. The only time I did have that issue it was due to a bad battery.

Over tightening them if they make contact real early and there is more threads left this can cause shorts on some cartos

Which Fusions did you buy greencity? Isaac sells an LR fusion as well as the standard resistance. Sometimes LR cartos don't get along too well with the original Infinity's circuitry.

On the original infinity the fusions will only work for a little while. The resistance drops as you use them. Hence the cut out. The 3 ohm 808 and 510s wont do this. Pretty sure isaac still has those in stock.

Higher the better on the OI 3 ohm is best IMO

I've been pretty happy with the v4l coolcarts on either Infinity or Buzz Pro. I use Mike's tank all the time, get 3 - 4 days' use between carto swaps (22 - 24 ml of eliquid). They're nominally up at about 3.4 ohms, but the ones I've looked at lately tend to test 3.1 - 3.2.

I'm really enjoying the fusions in the tank, have used them on both Infinity and BP. I had a couple cartos where I had to make sure not to tighten them down too much, but that's the only issue I've had so far.

Ipro and Buzz pro will run most cartos out there. Just remember lower resistence = less battery life. I dont think ive found anything my Buzz Pro wont run. Or my buzz classic..... Or my other buzz classic..... or....well you get the picture

If I over fill cartos, they can sometimes leak into the threads making a short. Clean and dry the connections and see if that works...
