Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

An interesting piece that I have to share...

So my ViVi nova came in today... I wanted to point out some observations to see if anyone else has noticed this as well :?:

1. The resistance on a 2.4 ohm head started at 4.2 ohms, after I dripped a bit of juice onto the coil/wick directly (and is now down to 2.4)
2. When I use the Safe vaping Power chart, to get my voltage, it tastes horridly burnt
3. When I use the Taste Method for determining voltage, it is finicky by the .1 volts (3.8v seems to be the sweet spot)
4. When it does not have a burnt taste (I got the voltage just right) it has a better throat hit, and better flavor than a cartomizer (I use 2 ohm Boge XL, double punched, which are primed after punching, blown out properly, and then put into a tank full of juice)

Has anyone else shared my observations as well? I am brand new as of today to the Atty world... Once I get my Kanthal wire, and my Cotton (Unbleached, organic) from the hobby store, I will start rebuilding on the ViVi nova, thanks to Phil Busardo, who pointed out how easy this non-rebuildable atty is to rebuild.:vapor:

I have been using Vivi's Alot and they all seem to reed higher in ohms than what they are supposed to be. I also don't go by that chart you referred to, but by taste which tends to be lower in voltage than what the chart says. I don't think it's totally accurate and also depends on what you are using and the juice you are using. I also definitely think the flavor is better than on the carts. The only carts that taste decent to me are the Ressurectors, which I keep for backup but tend to not prefer to use them if I don't really need to because of the mess of filling them til it drips out the bottom and all that mess.

The nova is also a piece of chinese manufacturing. Not great quality control. My main go to delivery system is a carto/tank. I've just started using kanger t3's and just got a kanger pro tank. Really happy with both.. The bottom coil doesn't dry out likea nova or top coil.

I've been using the Kanger T3s for a while, and I FINALLY got the Protank today. Haven't unpacked it yet, but if it's anything like the difference between the Vision V3s and the Kanger T3s, it's going to leave the Vivi Nova in the dust. (And I say that as a devoted fan of the VN.) :)

Agree. I'm starting to go with the T3 over my nova's now.

The best thing I ever did to my novas was to "notch" the little silicon cap so the wick can get a bit more juice to the coil. I believe that cap chokes the wick so juice is not delivered quickly enough

This, and taking a drill to the metal "U" part that the wick lies on in order to make a deeper "U" will bring the wick/coil closer to the liquid. I've never messed with cotton, but hemp wicks work very well on the Novas once you get it setup properly (which can be a bit of a pain).

The kanger pro tank is just a REALLY nice clearomizer with the coil at the bottom. You do have to turn it upside down but no problem with that. I use blunt needle tips on my bottles to make it easier for me to fill

I really want to like the protank, but so far its been giving me dry hits like every 4th hit or so. Have you removed the flavor wick or modified it in any way? I'm thinking of grabbing an evod head for a tighter draw and rebuilding with hemp.

Statement: I bought a couple Vivi Novas after hearing so many positive reviews about them. I liked the build setup and they were easy to work with and clean.

That being said though, while I got lots of vapor they really, really muted the taste of my juices. And even with 100% PG juices I occasionally had dry hits from a nearly full tank, which made no sense to me as it can't get much thinner juice than that.

I've had much better experience overall with carto tanks, but I am going to give the ProTank a whirl to see how I like it. I tried several of the VN 'fixes' such as notching the silicone cap, spreading the split so it wicks a bit better, and a few other things....just didn't do the trick.

I just came from carto tanks lol... I find that the twirl method has served me well, and I run my 2.4 @ a low voltage, due to my juice (sensitive to heat...)

I use mainly 80/20 Double Apple from MT. Baker Vapor.
