So I had such a dilemma figuring out which kit to order, then it arrived and I had 2 Marlboro Lights left.So I finished them and never looked back. Here it is almost 3 weeks later, I am breathing so much better, I don't hack and cough, my clothes don't reek of smoke...oh and yes...neither does my HAIR!!!!! :p

I would have added an update earlier, but my laptop needed to be replaced. I was trying to read a screen suffering from major burned out pixels! So the hubsters and I had to go shopping! I know one of my favorite words!!!! Ironically, it was so much easier to pick out a laptop than an e-cigarette! My last laptop I also bought on looks and function....this time I told the geek squad what I needed and then we talked a bit and he explained some differences in terms of porches and Ferrari. I told him this time I wanted the Ferrari!:2cool:

So now that I am back online, I am finally getting around to catching up on things. Having to redo the music for the iPod was real fun....NOT!!! :(

Yesterday was a real bad day for me, and it wasn't until I was in bed that I realized I had been so busy I hadn't even had time to even think about smoking/vaping and I didn't crave it either. This is a good thing since my goal is to quit smoking. but I do not think I will give up vaping. I really enjoy it too much! It's way better than smoking ever was!!!!!

Congrats! I'm a day over three weeks and loving it! I tried everything to get off cigs before and failed every single time. I pretty much came to the conclusion I was going to smoke until I died. Then I discovered these wonderful little toys and I don't even think about smoking cigarettes anymore!

It's amazing how much better I feel after such a short amount of time too. No more coughing, breathing better, feeling better,.and I don't stink anymore. My (non-smoking) girlfriend is really happy about all of this too.

there was a transitional period for me when first beginning to vape. I'd say I had my first ecigs for about 2 months with increased use over that time, with proportional decreased use of analogs. It's a different throat hit, it's a different visceral sensation, and it tastes MUCH different! I couldn't go back to analogs now, but for people like me, it wasn't simply an overnight transformation, so keep with it!!!

I'm looking to make the same switch. Did u go for nicotine it non nicotine eliquids? Any other noob tips?

Since you are quitting smoking I would recommend you start out with nicotine juice. You are still going to have a bit of withdraw from the other 1000 chemicals in a cigarette. Then, as you get used to not smoking and vaping instead, gradually step down your nicotine levels. I would start with 18mg or 24mg if you were a heavy smoker.

I was a 2 PAD smoker (smoke free for two weeks now) and I use an 18Mg nicotine juice. I'd definitely recommend starting with a nicotine juice and then weening yourself if you so desire. That is my intention...first step is to just get off the smokes and having the nicotine gives you a fighting chance.

While I have been smoke free for a couple of weeks now, I can't say that I haven't had cravings for an analog. I think part of it is just the feel of the paper and what not...but I also probably should have started with a higher nicotine. Now that it's been a couple of weeks, it's gotten much easier and my body has adjusted to this level of nicotine. I still get a craving every once in awhile for an analog, but then I just stop and think about how much better I'm already feeling.

I have to say that vaping has made getting off of the analogs easier than anything else I've ever tried.
