I am trying to figure out an easy conversion chart so when I explain this to someone else I will have some numbers to throw around

Figure 1 to get info on
5 analog cigarettes = 1 full 510 cartridge
(this is just an example I don't know)
How many analogs do you think 1 full 510 cartridge is equal to?

Figure 2 to get info on
1 full 510 cartridge = approximately how many drops?
Or
How many ml does an empty cartridge hold?

With some rough numbers I can then say a 10ml bottle of juice is about equal to X amount of packs, or how big of a ml bottle you'd want to get to buy to get an analog equivalent to a carton size amount.

I don't smoke anymore, and have not for years... so I personally can not properly make an accurate comparison. Hopefully 10 plus people will submit their answers to
How many analogs do you think 1 full 510 cartridge is equal to?
This is somewhat subjective, but with enough people I think a reasonable average will be found

How many ml does an empty cartridge hold?
Should be close to the same across the board.

You're going into it too deeply. I smoked 2 to 2 1/2 packs a day for 40+ years. I got my E-cig and started with 24mg nic. In the morning I felt I needed more, so I kept a small bottle of 36mg to spike on. After a few weeks, I quit spiking. After 5 months, I cut my nic to 18mg.

Listen to your body, and don't over do it. Everything looks good on paper, but usually never works.

that's probably true Jim, but like I said I can't personally gauge milliliters to analogs at all. So estimates from multiple people, and just finding an average is the best I can hope for.

whatever strength you use, just add that do your answers
Something like
In my opinion I think X ml with Ymg is about equal to Z analogs.

with those 3 points I think a reasonable average will emerge.

I believe some have determined that the 510 cartridge holds .55ml of juice.
And 16mg strength juice means 16mg of nicotine in 1 milliliter of juice.

After that it comes down to nicotine absorption rates from smoking versus vaping.
I'm not convinced anybody really knows that.

The old conventional wisdom from the New Zealand studies was 10% absorption rate for vaping.
New conventional wisdom seems to be saying it is higher than that.

I have no idea what the absorption rate is for smoking.

And then you have to consider that the nicotine content of cigarettes can vary widely as well.
So you need to use the data from the kind of cigarette you smoked.

Having said all that, I believe the average here is around 2-3ml per day.
And I believe the average here is probably around 24mg strength juice.
And I believe the average around here was probably close to 2 packs/day.

Those are numbers I just pulled out of the air though.
But they're based on some memory conglomeration after reading lots and lots of posts for months.

Still, they are a pretty random shot in the dark.
:)

thanks for the info, that is the kind of estimates I need and thanks to martha for that link.
