My kit from v4v arrived this morning!! I ordered a variety of flavors and strengths and got a few freebies to boot I had been smoking lights, 2 pad. I thought I'd be fine with the higher nic but I found that I coughed with the 18 and 24 mg flavors (vanilla and peppermint), which is sad, I like them alot.

I am vaping a 11mg espresso with no trouble. When I get craving a cig I try the 18mg for a few. I figure it will take me a few days to work the kinks out and adjust to the change. In any case I have not had a analog in 5 hours!!!!

yeah soon the regular cigs will be tasting kinda of foul after using all the good tasting juices you have with the ecig.

Congrats and welcome Cookie. As others have said and I can confirm, after a while using the ecig, a real cig tastes like crap... it takes time, just hang in there.

TY all for grats The forum here has been a big help in making the decision to switch to e-cigs. And I have to say, I have rarely seen a forum more active or more helpful!

Well, first 24 hr done. Yesterday, I had problems with coughing. I stuck to lower mgs most of the day, drank enough water to float a battleship. Noticed that when I went to bed I didn't have the usual coughing and wheezing when I laid down.

This morning I got up, looked at my pv and decided I didnt want to start the day off coughing, so had a analog. It tasted not as good as it used to and I promptly picked up my pv and low and behold, almost no coughing!! This looks like it is going to work out just fine!

Congrats! Give it time and don't pressure yourself about it seems to be the best advise on here. If you need an regular cig here or there its ok. Just think of all the ones you have not smoked and go forward from there.
