Hi all I just started vaping about 2 weeks ago. I bought a mistic from pilot truck stop. It's been working well but the cartos are a little pricey. So I got some ejuice from a place in the mall 25.00 for 20 ml I know that's high too but better than 15.00 for 5 cartos. I want to get better hardware and DIY ejuice.

There is sooo much info on here it makes my head spin. Need some suggestions on what to get.
Here is what I looking for. Low cost, fast shipping, and easy to use. Don't care what it looks like. Oh I am a truck driver so I'm always on the road. Only get home on weekends (sometimes) so I don't want to drip. Smoked 1/2 pad but seem to vape more.

Been looking into ego, ego-t, mega cartos, sapphire system, and the one from ikenvape. Think a passthrough would be best for me cause less dead batteries (have a usb in my truck radio and on cell charger).

Would like to get everything from one vender or if someone knows of a local store in the LA area.

Thanks for reading and any info will be appreciated.

Glad to have you and it looks like you are on the right road.
A pass thru might work, but if you get one of the larger mod units
then a battery should last you 5 to 8 hours. The small units have
small batteries and don't last as long. I do ALOT of driving for work
and I can drive and switch a battery very easily. I have a Provape
and it is very, very durable and use cartomizers and that too can be
easy while trucking by just filling a few before you take off.
Keep reading and learning and good luck to ya!

Thx for the reply. The only problem I have with a battery mod is I can not charge on the road no 110v in my truck and my company will not let me use an inverter.

I'm thinkin of gittin a ego 1000 passthrough or vv passthrough with a large carto just don't know were to get one. Every vendor I have checked is out of stock of something I want :-(

Welcome m14racer. Try liberty-flights.com and hit the 20% off coupon. Since you are looking at the egos I would suggest you look at the Riva too. Can't beat the price. You can charge them off a USB port so a set w/two batts would do you just fine. I am not sure a passthrough while trying to bang through a gear pattern and having a cord dangeling sounds like much fun. Since you will be in the cab I would also suggest picking up some Boge LR (2.0 ohm) cartos to make driving and vaping a little easier. Throw in a 510 drip tip too. You can use this on the atty's that come w/the kit and on the cartos to make topping off while driving easier. They also carry juice but there are amny other places that have a larger selection for that item. To get sarted and one stop shop it you could get a few 5 or 10 ml bottles of their stuff to see what type of flavors hit the spot for you. Best of luck and welcome to ECF

Good suggestion on Liberty Flights. But in the same category as the eGo/Riva, I would suggest you look at the E-Power. As good or better performance but the batteries only cost $4-$5 instead of $14 - $20. Plus they last 5 times longer (lifetime wise).

Liberty Flights also has a large selection of eliquids. There PG version Home Counties is a smooth tobacco flavor.

wv2win and swedishfish I leaned on the side of the Riva since OP is limited in power source and only has access to usb for charging. Yes I agree the e-power would give longer batt life and in the end is cheaper in over all life cycle costs but if he is a long haul trucker he could be without power to charge batts for a few days.

The eGo PT might be perfect for you. Vape plugged in as long as you like or unplugged for around 5 hours or more before charging. You'll need cartos with it. CrystalClearVaping.com or GoodProphets.com have great prices on cartomizers. 15 Boge brand for $20. I'd suggest choosing LR on one of the boxes (5 to a box so you get 3 boxes) at checkout. They're not too low resistance to hurt the eGo.

I recommend the eGo PT often as a 2nd PV and taxi or truck driver's main PV. Knowing you always have a fully-charged PV is a wonderful thing. The learning curve is quick. Screw on a filled carto, press the button for 3 or 4 seconds to warm your juice and take a long, slow pull into your mouth. Inhale. Wha-la. Good luck on your vaping journey.

i drive also but iv got the inverter to charge batterys and i also have a provari with the provape battery's that last 2 days for me. i also have a bb and they sell a pass through for it and it vapes nice with a liquinator tank with some none approved battery's but the pass though that they have for it makes it the same voltage as the none approved battery's . the tank helps on the needing to refill problem i had when im on the road. the set up is a little on the pricey side but safety is a factor i think since you drive also so it was on my mind when i started vaping.the bb is sold by altsmoke and the tank is from vaporesence both great american companys with great service.

I Favor the volcano brand inferno usb. It functions like a pass through but can also act as a stand alone. I have been using mine steadily for the last six hours with no loss of function. I also like clearomizers for the amount I can get in and to be able to see where I am at. Good luck finding what is right for you.

Looks like you are already getting good advice ;-)

lots of good options out there...
my only advice is: it's okay to over-invest a little in a "better" unit/PV... sounds like you are sold on vaping.

as far as passthoughs, I just got this: Vaprlife - 5-Volt Cigs - The VP-PT.Kit
It's so nice... worth every penny.

E-Power or 1000mah ego is niceee...
Nice thing about the epower is that the batts are cheaper...

Well I order the t-rex 650mah from liberty-flights on Friday and it was delivered today. :) but I'm not home and my wife let her dad try it. He has been a smoker for like 40 years. He liked it so much that I told her to give it to him. Hopefully he will quit smoking analogues.

Ii just ordered the ecf special offer kit 900mah so hopefully it will be there when I get home. I also ordered some juice from TVR. A sample kit and a 15ml bottle. I think I got a total of 63ml for 29.00 shipped.

In a couple of weeks I'm going to order some cartos from CCV. Witch ones should I get?

Thx for reading and the help
