I got this sexy little beast today, but all that the shop could tell me was that it is called 'The Andromeda' and it's Filipino. It is a brass telescopic mod with copper contacts, and it hits like crazy, it was lust at first site, and now it is true love. Anyone know who makes it? I can't find anything about it anywhere...

thanks

Since no one can answer you is because most people here aren't into filipino mods as your mod was the first one i heard of but apparently if you go to Philippine forums, jers can almost answer all your questions. As for this mod theres not much info on it except the brass/copper contacts. Do a voltage test and let me know how it performs and the price you paid that will tell alot about it.

Theres tons of new stuff coming out of PI. Stuff people never even heard of like scourge and fat dirty ....... or the bomb or nuke. Or the moses mod, i mean 047 industries has a nice one so does wutang. Then theres mods that PI copies and rename them personally. Like inspire mod which is a drawtube clone modded top cap. A clone of a clone. Haha. Like the chintenel and titan clone coming out. The market is going to get flooded.

LOL, thanks, I paid $180 at a shop in Granada Hills, probably over paid, but I didn't really care, I was in love with it's simplistic voluptuousness, and the clean lines, and I had the cash, where am I going to find another? I'll take a look at the Pino forms, hopefully I'll be able to follow this maker's work. If this is an early mod, than I can't wait to see what they do later.

why would someone clone the Titan? one of the ugliest mods I have ever seen, it looks like a failed attempt at cloning the k100(empire clone, yeaaa!! a clone of a clone)

Lots of Pinoy mods are incredible values for what you get. I recently got a Bagga, an all brass mod...hits as hard as my Poldiac (if not better...), has the best voltage retention under load of any mod I have right now.

Pinoy mods might not be for everyone looks wise, but performance wise they are up there right at the top with the other "high end" mods. Great value for your $$.

Most B&M places charge more because that's the only option they have(expenses of retail). But what matters really most is you're happy with your mod, regardless of what you paid for it. Chi you's are on sale today at local vape shops, if your into the hype. Like madicen said, pinoy mods are best bang for buck now, Until china starts to put copper/silver into their mods then it'll really mess up the whole market hahaha. It'll take time but i know eventually they'll swing that way, then china will be best bang for the buck but still lack QC in their products. I don't think any mod is worth more than 200, except the handmade ones which is far by few(steampunks). Afterall Its a metal tube with nuts and springs and some with electronics. If my mod can double as an MP3 player and a projector yea i'll pay 200 over for it or maybe a high-powered flashlightw with swiss army knife kit.

Ok you guys get the point. Happy vaping because this vaping stuff is costing more than smoking its no longer a means to stop smoking
its become a hobbist extortion ring.

So... from the impression I get, California is just one big orgy of high priced mechs and for some reason I chose to live 3000 miles away?

...a big ole orgy of overpriced (retail) mechs...So Cal at least. I can live without spending top dollar (and then some) for some mods. Meh, fits in with the rest of So Cal...been there, lived there...got out as soon as I could :) They can keep it.

Here is another great example of Made in The Good Ole USA, hand crafted, no all that pretty to look at, but blow your head off mech: Home
My #122 will be here Monday. Again, not for everyone lookswise..but these things will blow yer lid clear off performance wise...and I love me some unique lookin mods :)
