Well, "one pod is the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes" right? :eyeroll: so really it's a bargain. That's like $4/pack!

...

Yeah... Where have I heard that Before?

Feel like I am Back in 2010 Reading a Blu Press Release.

It's still there. About half-way through, at the begining of the paragraph just before the graph. It says, "juice currently on the market uses freebase nicotine, but that's not how nicotine exists in the real world."

What's been removed, is your comment, I think. I can't find it by searching for the word "freebase".
thanks got it.

I've tried the thing, have it sitting here next to the mods I've spent 100s and 100s on, tanks, etc. It isn't like the normal stuff I vape and it isn't "rushy" like having just a super-high nic content vape. You don't, for want of a better word, "need" to suck it dry to feel satiated.

As I posted elsewhere, I'm testing going out with it on a full charge. So far, it seems to be getting the job done. I find it WEIRD AS HELL that it is, because we "know better" and it isn't "supposed" to :) A good 5 - 7 puffs on the thing is as *nicotine satisfying* as a session with my sub-ohm tank. It doesn't make 'show clouds' but it isn't a "blu-like" at all performance-wise and if you are inhaling it as opposed to blowing it out going "wooooowwww"...it is getting the job done, without being too hasrh and too hot.

They are also trivial to refill. This isn't a Blu/MarkTen/NJOY/Vuse-product. YMMV. We'll see what I think in a few more days, but it is definitely not disappointing in the "fulfill the crave" regard.

For real. I wish people, companies, and society at large would stop treating vaping like a "version" of cigarette smoking. I'm continually seeing attempts to interpret vaping in terms of cigarettes, which I believe is completely off-base and limiting. Probably, pipe smoking is a closer analogy than cigarettes.

It would be silly to believe that technology would not be able to address the issues of old minis and micros that drove us to insane mods and tanks and whatnot because those things weren't getting the job done.

Ploom, now PaxLabs, has been selling tobacco-based closed "tobacco pod" stuff for a long time now, as well as their Pax devices for "dry material"...this isn't a "re-brand" of a Chinese thing.

As an experiment, I have a JUUL sitting on my desk next to a SubMini firing at .4 (using the RBA and coil I wound). So far, I haven't had the "ugh, this sucks, going for the big boy" feeling.

We'll see :)

And no, ......n it, I'm not a "shill". I try *every* new thing...because we don't learn otherwise. Occupational hazard of my field, I guess...

Please report back on how you get on with it long term. I'd be particularly interested as to how it compares with the nic that comes with it vs a refill of "ordinary" nic.

Nice to hear from Someone who has tried a Juul.

How exactly is Re-Filling done? And would it be Possible to post a Picture on one of the Pods?

Also, what kinda of Battery life are you seeing? Something similar to a 510? Or maybe a RN4081?

So I'm guessing it is WTA liquid.

If I'm reading this correctly...
JUULpods | JUUL

Each pod ($4.00) holds 0.8ml of 50mg strength?

I don't think what comes in those Pods is so much WTA. But Nicotine in a Different form.

I believe that its form resembles some things we Can't Talk about here. Else we fall into the "Crack" in the sidewalk.

;)

IDK, I'm kind of getting interested in this Juul. Right now, I blowing through 4-6 ml of 12 mg juice ($2-$3 per day) to achieve a level of satisfaction that often leaves me thinking a little bit about cigarettes. Considering the convenience factor, if this device satisfies as advertised, I'm starting to think it might be worth it. Just thinking here ...

Like All Things e-cigarette-wise, you never know until you try it.

I like it for the Size.

I have always liked Cig-a-Like for short Trips out of the House. Or when I go to out to Dinner or a Movie.

This is a disassembled cart. The tabs in the side hold it on pretty tight. As you see, just get the mouthpiece off, remove the rubber seal, refill.

Can't really do a good battery life report until tomorrow. The charger is so damned handy that I kept putting it in the little dock since it was plugged into my Macbook :)

I'll try to run it dead tomorrow w/o charging

I can do this already...there is DEFINITELY a difference between what is in theirs and my normal stuff. I refilled one with my normal driver and I am on it a lot more. When I use theirs, I "feel" it...eyes open wide. 4-5ish pulls, I'm done for a bit.

But as I said yesterday, it isn't "race" and I slept right...none of that vape 'OD' nicdreams action. I have no idea what kind of 'nicotine' is in there but it isn't like my usual stuff @ 24mg or below.

I do find myself wondering how it would compare to using 50mg standard nic. Can't say I've ever tried vaping nic that high, but I do wonder if I did would I just be taking a few puffs and then putting it down rather than chain vaping. Maybe I should do an experiment.

Definitely sounds like WTA to me.

OK, I just pulled the trigger on this--I can't help it, I'm drawn to cigalikes. I don't see any reason why a cigalike can't be made to satisfy as well as a regular cigarette, maybe this is the first one that will. Of course, I will report back what I find out.

If I hadn't Repeatedly ruined my Vape budget for the last 6 Weeks, I would get one of these Myself.

I'm like you. I Love Small Form Factor PV's.

After reading these post, an Idea came to me.

Could this Juul be used as a BGIOAE Pv?

When I switched, I had a week of Intense Cravings. They subsided in the 2nd week. But I would still get a "Out of the Blue" craving at Random intervals up until about 3 Months.

So I kept a 36mg Carto in a Tic-Tac container which I called my "Break Glass incase of an Emergency" Carto. Or BGIOAE Carto for short.

I could see Using a Regular e-Cigarette in Tandem with a Juul to Quit Smoking. Then using a Regular e-Cigarette Day-2-Day but having the Juul for those Emergency Cravings.
