I presently have a geekvape solo and about to order a geekvape aegis x mod. They both say to get a high amp battery,so what is more important the mah rating or the amp rating?
You need an amp rating that will keep up with the coils you are using. Are those 21700 mods and what coils are you using?I presently have a geekvape solo and about to order a geekvape aegis X mod. They both say to get a high amp battery,so what is more important the mah rating or the amp rating?

Thanks, that about answers my question.Check out mooches tables and test results for all the info, but for 75 w on the solo, you'll want a 25A battery, so a vtc5A or Molicel 4p2A, or anything else mooch recommends in that range.
When using cells in the Aegis X, you should only use cells that HAVE NOT been used in the solo,. This is known as battery marriage. So, buy three or four sets of batteries, and use them in sets until one dies.
You must first meet the amp requirements of the wattage range you vape. Then choose the battery in that list that has the higher mAh rating. (Wattage doubles when using a 2 battery mod.)dennism said:I mostly vape dtl between 50 to 75 watts. Freemax fireluke mesh and freemax mesh pro.
