I was fortunate that one of the first Juices I bought was Mutt's Fire & Ice from Vaporbomb.com. This juice helped me get off menthol analogs. I think if I would've tried one of the other menthol flavors (which are all gross to me) that I would've gone back to analogs.

Mutt's Fire & Ice consists of their Cinnabomb flavor mixed with their Artic Ice one. I think any menthol smoker will enjoy this one... Mutt's Fire n Ice

It surprised me, but as a lifelong menthol smoker I find that I now prefer a simple Peppermint e-liquid to true menthol. It's sweeter and tastier, and packs a great throat hit. I get my Peppermint e-liquid from DIY Flavor Shack, but also found that Gourmet Vapors has a great peppermint. Some other brands seem a little wimpy. You might also find that Mint flavors in general, like Mint Chocolate Chip, satisfy that craving for a minty throat hit.

I wasn't a "lifetime menthol smoker" but probably smoked menthols for at least half of the 37 years that I smoked. A non-menthol flavor that I never thought that I would like was Ry4 (the Vapor Room). It was said to be a "tobacco flavor" and I didn't think that I wanted that. However, it was very satisfying. I ordered more from them. I recently had someone send my samples from freedomsmokeusa for candy cane and fuzzy navel and I'm "in love" all over again with vaping. I ordered a big bottle of Ry4 from FSUSA and am looking forward to more samples.

Well as a former analog menthol smoker myself...vaping has opened a WHOLE world of flavor for me. The following is a list I've enjoyed:

-Strawberry
-Mountain Dew
-Tutti Fruti
-Blueberry

Those I ordered from Totally Vapor...but as of tomorrow I'll be smoking:
-Peach
-Banana
-Pineapple
-Wild Cherry
-Orange Creamsicle

And those I'm ordering from Vaporbomb.

I find I enjoy the light fruity flavors as opposed to heavier ones.

alien visions does have an irish cream
YouTube - Alien Visions Irish Cream Juice Review
and that is a video review of it :p

honestly I have ventured so far outside of my menthol range .... though I normally keep a bottle of menthol around to mix into flavors...
so far menthol peach and menthol cinnamon mixes have been my favorite
my all day vape is still vaperite kona cream though...I don't see that changing.

I agree with this 100%. I was also a menthol smoker and I have found that I like Minty juices but not menthol tobacco juices. I really like the peppermint juices I have tried. I am looking for a good spearmint or wintergreen but I have not found one that I like yet. I have gotten away from tobacco flavors completely and my all day vape is now Peppermint for the most part. I like vanilla as well but not on the same level.

I used to smoke Kools, Camel Menthols, and an occasional Marlboro Menthol. I thought I would want menthol tobacco flavors for my PV. But, I've found I don't want any tobacco flavor at all. I agree with the Fire and Ice, but I also like mint (peppermint & spearmint) and firecracker (cinnamon). I also have a peach menthol that is a bit light but nice. Just got peach, strawberry, blueberry, watermelon, green apple, and waffle. Surprisingly the waffle is quite tasty.

I've looked for a good Wintergreen at many e-liquid shops, tried a few that were pretty wimpy, but I like this one a lot:
Gourmet Vapor E-Cigarettes and E-Liquids

Gourmet Vapors has a LOT of flavors, but they are slightly more expensive. In this case, it's worth the extra couple bucks. Add a drop or two of menthol concentrate to this Wintergreen and it kicks ..... Good TH too.

Their peppermint is also very good. A little smoother than what I got from DIY Flavor Shack, which is also quite good.

I tried quite a few flavors from different sources looking for a replacement for a menthol cigarette. The closest (flavorwise) was Menthol Ultra from FSUSA, but it still lacked the menthol "bite" an analog has. The solution was to buy a couple ounces of real menthol crystals off Ebay ($6 + shiping) and dissolve them in whatever tobacco flavor I wanted to vape.
I found that a strong menthol throat hit makes quitting analogs very easy if you're a menthol smoker.

I was never a menthol smoker, but love it as a vapor, no idea why. :?:

But what I've found the easiest ordering menthol, minty from various vendors
is to keep a supply of Lorann Oils flavors. Peppermint, Spearmint, Wintergreen,
and adjust the flavor to my liking in 3ml sample bottles. A few drops can make
all the difference, and it's also helpful in making tabacco blends that no longer
taste good, a very good vape! :vapor:
Think of it as adding a little salt or pepper at the table, everyone's taste is
different, and it's easier that ordering the same flavor from 10 vendors to
see which you like.

As a fellow Menthol smoker, what menthol flavor did you use to get off analogs?

I smoked menthols for 36 years, so when I started out I figured I'd find a menthol flavor and be happy with that. I bought a 901 from a local store, and bought their generic menthol medium juice. That worked to get me off analogs, but ounce I found Tasty Vapor Atomic Cinnacide, I didn't really like menthol anymore. Now I have a lot of flavors I like a lot, but there is only one that has any menthol in it. Mutt's Fire and Ice from VaporBomb, Fireball and menthol flavor, it's really good!
