eh, is it really possible to kick a BB? I thought that only 18mm battery mods can be kicked while BB takes 14mm (14500) batteries?

I'm questioning this, too. I started vaping in 4/2012, and got my BB and Silver Bullet a few weeks later. People were talking about kicking the SB, but not the BB. I DID read something about Chad or Rob saying that the inner dimensions of the battery tube on the BB was changed to prevent owners from doing something. It may well have had something to do with using a Kick or stacking batteries.

I know a 5v passthru was available for the BB early in its career. I remember asking Rob about it when I met him at his Columbus store, because it was always listed on the website but out-of-stock. He said that they decided to stop producing them because they weren't all that popular and were expensive to produce.

It seems variable voltage has continued to gain in popularity since that time. AltSmoke sells ego Twists, and of course sells the Kick and extension tube for the Silver Bullet. Still, I'm surprised Chad or Rob haven't created an out-of-the-box variable voltage or variable wattage APV.

The Silver Bullet continues to sell extremely well, despite being rather prehistoric as one of the original big-tube mods on the market and pretty much unchanged today from the original, Chad seems to be challenged to keep up with the demand.

I'm surprised the BB is not more popular than it is. I love the size and form factor, it's perfect for out and about, or when the plan calls for some stealth vaping. I have a Serenity Gear lanyard that I use with my BB; it then can hang from my neck either in or out of my shirt. Because of the protruding power switch, the BB is not really pocket friendly.

I'm not sure about the newer ones, my coworkers gf has a older pink one that fits a kick w/ a 18350.

But you could be right about the bb, I'll ask him at work on Monday.

Edit: got this from evolv/altsmoke:
"The Kick may also be used with 18500 metal tube mods with an IMR 18350 battery."

The reason I suggested the bb and not the sb is because for someone who is used to smaller ecigs/ego type stuff, the bb may be more their size.

I'd really appreciate it. It's a really interesting question and it'd be great if BB can be kicked (although I doubt it.) Provape-1 is another great mod which uses the same 14500 "slim" batteries as the BB. And if it turns out that Kick somehow fits into BB - next obvious question is about kicking Provape-1.

I don't know for certain, but I believe I read that the Kick wouldn't work in a Provape-1 because of the electronic protection circuitry, which is by the way rather impressive for a basic tube mod of it size and price. I'm also pretty certain ProVape prohibits a device like a Kick, or forfeit the lifetime warranty.

Never thought about that, kicked provape-1

So very disheartened already! The USPS tacking LIED to me! LIED I TELL YOU! L-I-E-D-!-!-!

The tracking said it would be delivered today, but that's not likely since it spent the night in Michigan and is just leaving now...still halfway across the country. I want it...I...I...I need it. They say the 15th when it won't be until the 17th....it's their own fault for setting unattainable expectations and then broadcasting them.

For all those who claim it's just an "estimate", here you go. Set a reservation for dinner on Friday night at 8 and then allow for give or take 48 hours! Ughh...I'm so impatient and need to breath...relax...Leo Pro still works fine...refill, heck, even rewick the Vivi....

Well, sticking with the original topic, I'm another new future Provari owner, I haven't even received my "shipped" email yet. Seriously, what rebuildable is everyone using on their Provari? I'd like to get one or two on order before it arrives.

Thanks!
YES! Yes! Yes indeed...got my USPS tracking number...so sweet. Come on fellas and ladies...what tank should I get?

I do have a bit of a problem paying $150 and waiting months to get one. I have a 4000w generator with a B&S motor in my garage that will cost the same as a Provari & ZAP - the money o fstuff. I like the look, sure, who doesn't. I prefer cotton to SS (personal pref). I'd hate to, like other products, get one and want to like it more than I actually like it. The Ody looks good, too many parts and a 3 part coil wire. This looks easy enough, I'd prefer some "locking" pins so it's not a "pull apart" device. I do love me some threads. I understand build quality - understood there, I don't know how it's better (functioning) than the DID, same functionality really, near identical. I wasn't a fan of the DID. Maybe the Provari will make the DID better too...who knows. Functionally, same, ZAP is 1000% nicer looking than the DID. If I like my DID on the Provari, then I'll try a ZAP.

Thanks for the input!

Hmm, if i try to explain it ill sound like an idiot, you really have to hear mike explain it himself, if you really are interested, look up pbusardo's inteview of Zen~, he explains exactly why his atties are better than the other gennies, thats what made me want one... err two (still have to get one for my gf). I have a did also btw, and a $5 did clone, and tbh they both vape the exact same IMO, just throwing that out there, if you want to compare something to the zap, possibly a cobra, maybe a orion or ac9 though i dont know too much about them but build quality looks solid... But i got to try a BUNCH at vapercon and the cobra was the only one which came close

Yeah, the glass is quartz, the ss is surgical grade, so you can even put one in your body and be ok (actually one person used their .... as a zen holder :) ), and it has a tapered bottom peice that imo looks amazing w/ the provari, but the real reason they are so good is the design of the top portion/top cap of the z-atties/zenesis'es and how it affects and expands the air/vapor while its flowing up through there.

If i try to explain it any more than that ill end up sounding even more like an idiot :D

Wow, there really was a bit too much information in that last post considering 99.99% of the people reading this page will not be attempting the aforementioned methods of atomizer utilization.
I love the look for sure. For what it is, the price is a bit offensive ~ they cost as much as a Provari itself. I will weigh them out in my mind.
