To deal with the juices that etch or crack tanks you need to get the Aspire ETs bdc glassomizer tank and then the Volt ETbdc to use the bottom for the threading. Had a real problem with gurgling and leaking but solved this by drilling the bottom pin to 1/16th with the handy dandy little Dremel and now they work great. Can't say I like bottom fill tanks for filling because find it hard to know how much juice I have in there but cleaning is much easier and the bottom coils really make a wonderful difference in the taste of the juices. Got my stuff from SI and YES wish Halo would offer a bottom coil glass tank but may not have it as a priority since none of their juices cause a problem.

Also, shortning the wicks on their T2 tanks makes a big difference too. Shortened mine to about half mast and took top wick out and replaced with cotton and like the results I am geting now but must remember to tilt and swirl but I do that anyway so no probs.

So I just got both of my tanks in! The Volt Aspire ET from S.I. and the Aspire ET-S from My Freedom Smokes. All of the bases fit the Halo batteries. The only difference is the post on the coil that screws in the base is longer on the one from Freedom Smokes. And even though it is longer it still works it just doesn't screw down the whole way. So basically if you want a glass tank just buy the Aspire ET-S from My Freedom Smokes and then buy the smaller post coils from Smokeless Image. So I bought 2 tanks from each company thinking I would get 2 working tanks out of it but I ended up with 4 working tanks. 2 that screw down all the way and 2 that don't. But all working!! So far I am quite impressed with these coils. Big clouds, great taste! Just a bit different on the drag because its tight but in a way I like it. Thanks everyone for your help.

This is a picture of the two tanks on the Halo bats. I just took the head/coil out of the glass tank and put it in the plastic tank. As you can see they both work but due to the smaller post in the ET-S tank it can be screwed down the whole way. I wish I would have known this before I ordered because I bought the replacement heads that have the longer posts. But at least they still work.

bought my coil heads from SI when i bought my 2 Tanks...i had no difficulties, did the same as you did.....i have 2 tanks with threading that fit the Triton Batts and the other 2 do not fit so i use them on my SID..

i'm very satisfied with my 2 Triton glass tanks & my goal was accomplished...no problems here!

from what you said above if i read it rite, your saying all 4 of your Tanks (bases) threading fit the Triton and that the coil heads are a problem (to long) on 2 of them....if this interpretation is correct your prob is obvious...you have somehow managed to screw ego bases on your Triton Battery....this is why they won't screw all the way down.

the Volt Aspire base at S.I. is 808 threaded.....the Glassomizer base at Freedom S. is Ego threaded

I wonder why all my bases fit with no problem? Where did you buy your Aspire ET-S from. Because the ones I bought screw on with no problem at all.

you know where i bought mine...it's listed on the first page (DV) exactly the same based threading as the one you bought at Freedom ...you have put ego threading on your 808 threaded Triton battery that is why it will not screw down all the way...it's not the coil head
Not true. When I first received all of the tanks I took the bases off and removed the heads at which point all bases screwed onto the Triton batteries with absolutely no pressure applied. They all went on as easy as the Halo tanks. So at that point I looked for the difference between the two tanks the only difference was the size of the post on the heads in which the ones on the ET-S were about an eighth of an inch longer. Even the replacement heads that I purchased where all about an eighth of an inch longer than the heads that came in the ET's. And you do not screw anything onto the 808 threading with these tanks only onto the Vgo threads. So after reading your response I took the tank that is not treading down the whole way apart, took the coil head out and again screwed right on without any problem. So my guess is that the ego threading on these tanks is very close to the Vgo threading on the Triton tank and is why they fit.

This is a pic of the 2 heads the smaller one comes from the Volt Aspire ET Tank. The larger one comes from the Aspire ET-S tank. This is the reason it will not screw down the whole way. The funny thing is both heads have the exact same numbers on them. So obviously Smokeless Image is putting a smaller post in them so they will fit their Volt batteries. There is no threading issues with these 2 tanks. I'm just stating this so people are aware there is an easy fix for the glass tank without buying extra Volt Aspire ET tanks when all they need to buy are the coil heads from SI. Thank you everyone for your help in this matter and I hope that it helps someone else when they are trying to get glass on their Triton. Just until Halo gets the glass tanks of course!!! Love you all goodnight.:)

The vgo threading is similar to the ego, and yes some ego products will fit the tritons and work with them. The center post is a bit longer which is why you can't screw it all the way on. You are fine using them even if they don't go all the way down

appreciate you explaining that....i was really scratching my head on this one....the 2 Ego bases i switched out from the Glassomizer bought at DV would most definitely NOT fit on my Triton...so each Vendor's Threading/coils are possibly different...thanks

They could've been 510 threaded (the center threads on an ego battery). Also like I said only certain ego toppers will work on the tritons, and that's only if you don't mind the gap. It could also make it more delicate, being slightly off like that there's a chance the threading could break off the battery easier if its sat on, stuck in a pocket wrong, etc
