From the BBC - E-cigarette "lure" fears might be unfounded

Data from the Office for National Statistics indicate those who use e-cigarettes, are almost entirely current or former smokers.

E-cigarettes were mainly used to help smokers quit and because users saw them as being less harmful than cigarettes, the ONS said.

It was also picked up by the Guardian with references and links to other supporting research - nice: E-cigarettes have not been a gateway to traditional smoking

both articles seem to have mostly good comments too. There's one fool in both that the response was did you even read the article :facepalm:
