Hi all,

I'm 27. I have been smoking on and off for half my life now.. Mostly on. After fiddling with a few disposables I decided to get something more formidable and I chose the prosmoke.

At first puff it leaked.. I got to taste the liquid smoke. Hmm probably smells better than it tastes. Initially I thought "Okay, so I got scammed" but I contacted the seller and I was able to fix the problem within the hour (they replied back almost right away).

So far I'm content with it.. I'm not as happy with it as I thought I would be, but I am using it a lot and I have not felt the need to have a real cigarette yet. I think I may have chosen the wrong nicotine strength as I'm finding it almost a little bit too weak for something that supposedly has the strength of Marlborough Lights/Ultralights.

I do realize though, that most people here view prosmoke and other aggressively advertised ecigs as a rookie mistake... I perceive that you are probably right. I do wonder what device I will be more happy with, I hope to find that out.

Having started on Blu Cigs, I loved the Prosmoke when I switched to that. I still have it and still use it in certain situations. I don't think it's that bad of a setup for a mini. Unlike the Blu, I liked being able to easily refill the cartridges myself. Like many others, I started with the mini setups to quit smoking thinking that I would eventually quit the e-cigs too. Then vaping became more and more enjoyable and is now a hobby.

Anyway, after the minis, I moved on to eGo Twist batteries with clearomizers...then on to Vivi Nova tanks...then on to a Lavatube, etc. Who knows what's next?

I started with something similar a long time ago. I was happy with it at the time but they lost their effectiveness at keeping me satisfied when I tried my first APV. Theres nothing like a good vape on a RBA.

Hey Stephen,

I am so new that I don't even know what those acronyms mean :facepalm: but I do understand that you're talking about the bulky medical equipment looking devices. I can see myself using one of those at home, what drew me to prosmoke was that it feels like a cigarette in my hand.. Something that a lot of you are probably used to hearing.

APV = advanced personal vaporizer
RBA = rebuildable atomizer

Give it a couple of weeks and you'll be explaining acronyms to new members :2cool: Once you have five posts, you'll have broader access to the different forums and learn about RBAs and APVs until you're blue in the face.

Blu was the first ecig that drew my attention but after seeing some questionable reviews I decided to pass. I opted for the prosmoke because I saw that I could refill the cartridges myself, but after having the product in hand I don't think the cartridge shells will last me forever.. I guess I should be saving all of them.

From a first glance the Lavatube seem very intriguing. Thanks for letting me know

You should try a mini ego with a low resistance clearomizer tank set up it's not as big as some of the mods out there and is very portable. Also your nic strength should be based on how many real cigarettes or packs of them you smoked in a day. A lot of new vappers start with 18mg I chose 24mg and am currently making my own liquids at 22mg strength. Do a search on ego mini kits I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
