Another newbie here, just ordered a 510 kit

and a few extra carts and some juice from NHaler. Probably should have looked for someplace closer to California thinking I might get it sooner. But here I wait and reading all I can trying to learn as much as possible. I'm really hoping to be able to quit the analogs, but seems like I'm really going to have to find a fast way of keeping things charged and carts full of liq. as I don't have alot of time durning the day to be messing around. I guess in time I'll figured it all out but in the mean time if I can cut way down untill I can figure things out I'll be happy. You guys are great help as I already know alot more then I did a week ago and I'm sure once mine arrives I'll have alot of questions. Thanks everyone.

I think you made a good choice with Nhaler. It will be worth the extra wait. They have some of the tastiest juices I have tried (and I've tried..well lots..easily over a hundred).
You've also made a good choice with the 510, very good model to start with.
As far as keeping charged and filled... A PCC (personal charging case) is a good way to keep your batts topped off during the day. Also, if you spend much time in front of the computer, I would recommend getting a passthrough (I like one with an inline battery, so you can unplug it and use on the go).
I also suggest you just carry a small bottle of juice with you to top off your carts. It only takes a few seconds to add a few drops to a cart.

You will probably have lots more questions once you get going, and this is the perfect place to bring them. Lots of very helpful people here.

Good to hear and good luck. One tip is, if you are not satisfied with the carts you could drip. Thats what i do it seems to work very well.

Congrats, and welcome to THE hardest part- waiting for your first kit to arrive! Then comes the OTHER hardest part, waiting through the initial battery charge! After that, you can relax, have a vape, and consider the NEXT hardest part, what flavors and other equipment to get. During that is the LAST hardest part, figuring out all the lingo, abbreviations, models, mods, etc!

Really, you will learn tons here, and don't be afraid to ask questions, and hang on, almost there!

You can also pick up a small camera carrying case that will hook on to your belt and keep your juice and/or prefilled carts. A papertowel is always handy, an unbent paperclip, tweezers, an extra battery. These can be picked up at any walmart/target or the like.

Well little history here, I'm 51 years old and been smoking since I was 18 so its been a long time and I'm sure hoping this will help me get off them. From what I have read there's alot like me that vaping has worked for them. I've seen talk about dripping but not sure how that is done.

These forums have been so helpful in getting prepared to make my first E-cig purchase that after reading for the last few weeks I almost felt like a veteran before even buying one.

The 510 is at its best when dripped I think. Just drip 2 to 3 drops directly onto the atomizer, and put an empty cart (minus the stuffing) back on and vape. You should be able to vape on those 2 to 3 drops for awhile before you need to drip again.

May be just my opinion but I think there is much more flavor by not using the stuffing. I save my stuffing and full carts for when I'm on the road and it would be hard to drip and drive.

Welcome in Wingit.. Gratz on the decision to quit. I really enjoy my 510. and I agree with highping that a PCC is the way to go. I also carry a cpl small bottles of e-juice with me so i can drip (2 drops on the wire mesh thingy you will see) and that way I cange flavors every once in a while to keep the taste pretty fresh.

I have researched for weeks and just finally placed an order since it was giving me anxiety trying to figure it all out. I currently smoke Virg slims ultra light menthols, about 12-15 per day. Im still unsure about the cartridges and liquid. I ordered 26mg of menthol liquid and a bottle of glycerin water to dilute. The nice woman at cignot told me thats the way to go. So, I need to know exactly how much to put in each time if Im going to smoke this thing alot. I dont want more nicotine! And the 510kit with PCC no box that I got comes with 5 cartridges. Are they empty? And then I put liquid mix on them?

Also can anyone direct me to the best menthol that would be closest to my virg slim ul menthols?

If you got your "no box" kit from Cignot, then the cartridges that come with the 510 will be prefilled. Most likely "Marlb High". That will be an attempt at a Marlboro taste... and I belive the nic content will be about 24mg. They probably won't taste all that great.

As far as matching the flavor of the analogs that you are currently smoking... I give up! Taste is sooo subjective. I'm an ex menthol smoker, and found the ECOpure menthol and or Menthol/Fresh to be excellent. Did it taste exactly like my old cigarettes? Dunno. Tasted good though. Since that time, like most others, I have migrated away from flavors that actually taste like tobacco. I have a feeling that you will too.

Nicotine level is personal and subjective too. It depends on how much you "crave" and how often you "vape". If you've got 26mg liquid coming.. then fine. Use that in your carts (either vape out the contents of your carts or remove the filler... wash it out.. dry the filler and re-stuff the cartridges with the material.. then drip the liquid on the filler.. about 10-15 drops). If you feel that is too much nicotine (side effects, jitters, whatever), then thin some of the liquid out and do it again. I vape a lot... and I vape liquid in the 26-30mg range. But that's me.

You will know so much more.. and have completely different questions.. in just a few days.
