Another newbie saying Hi

I was outside at work in the smoking area 3 days ago, and the regular gang was there. I said to L, "What's that?" as she sucked on a purple metal tube. She explained about e-cigs and told me she hadn't had a smoke in 5 days -- and she's a pack-a-dayer. Her boyfriend, a 2-pack-a-dayer, has also gone to 100% vaping right from the start, the week before. "Doesn't it bother you to be surrounded by smokers?" No, she said. That was it, for me. There's a brick-and-mortar e-cig store a block from my office; I went straight there and got the eGo-C starter kit. Pretty amazing. I waited till I finished the last pack of tobacco, so I didn't start vaping till this morning; but I have great hopes.

Well, the funny thing is, after I started vaping, I realized a lot of my money problems are going to go away. I'm really broke and having to count every penny. I'll save $250 a month on tobacco while spending about $20-$30 on liquid. (Or whatever you call it. Juice?)

I did the calculations too, and that's pretty much what I came up with - spent about $280/month on cigs and figure about 20-30 bucks on juice, coils and other miscellaneous item. That's a pretty significant savings!

Welcome to everybody! I'm still new myself. I work next door to a PD, too. No weird looks, or anything. The usual "nod" as they pass me in the parking lot. Very little eye contact with those guys. Creepy. Must be the hair gel.
