Another noob, another set of questions!

Hi there! I've smoked 1 PPD (+/-) for about 20 years (frequently switching between menthol, non-menthol and lately generics). I took over 1 year off to have a baby and nurse - not sure why I started back but I did and I've been smoking 1-1.5 PPD for about 2 years now. I have read so many reviews from long time smokers about how e-cigs got them away from analogs for good. I was so excited when my first order arrived last week. I got a 1300 Vision spinner and a ego-C twist with two Kanger EVODs. I got four different flavors of juice from MyVaporStore also - to avoid having to make two separate purchases on the first go. I like the spinner better than the twist so far but mostly that's because the EVOD on the twist is garbage. It took me a long time and lots of trial and error and reading online and watching videos to figure that out. The other EVOD works great with just a tiny bit of gurgling. So far I've liked the flavors I have tried (peach, mocha lite, and blue ice) but find the mocha one is a bit like inhaling coco puffs after a while so I'll probably just dedicate one carto/clearo to that in the future for my morning vapes. The blue ice is currently my fav but that's also the only thing I can consistenly vape since its in the good EVOD. So now that you know me and my set up, here are my questions.

I am going to make another purchase tonight. I am planning to buy replacement heads for the EVODs and probably 2-3 more EVODs so I can keep different juices in different clearos depending on my mood. Is this wise given the problems I've had the EVOD? Should I just go with a different non-leaky, non-gurgly kind of device like a cartomizer? I saw some stuff about punching the cartomizers that confused me and I don't think they hold as much juice as the clearos? I don't think I'm advanced enough for a tank just yet. Any thoughts about that would be helpful? I'm a little concerned about having to re-wick all these things. I like the clearomizer for all the things that work but hate the leaking/gurgling. Suggestions? Secondly, I am the mom of an active 3 year old and I also like to go to the casino when I have some mommy down time....both of these situations lead me to want something that does not look like I am using illegal drugs when I'm vaping in these locations. (You should have seen the look I got in Toys R Us parking lot after I took a puff off my 1300...) What is the best cig-a-like or would a 510 of some kind Joye 510 Black Starter Kit or this 808 thingy KR808D1 Starter Kit - Manual button be a better option? I don't mind if it looks like a small cigar or a very long weird cigarette, or even a cig-a-like but I just can't bring stuff that looks like drug paraphernalia to these places. Last question: how do I make separate paragraphs on this forum entry? I hate that this looks so run on and unorganized! I have to go to the park now, will be back later tonight to see if anyone has suggestions. Thanks in advance and happy vaping!

My first kit included a carto tank and ive been extremely happy with it. Bit of a learning curve and have burned more then I care to admit. Think a 2 or 3 hole punch would be better as im a chain vapor, coming off 2 pad to 2.5pad of analogs. One punch cartos dry up if im not constantly taking primer hits. They are worth checking out if you find them interesting. I hate refilling anything so the tank works out great. I understand the need to be descreet and not bring attention to it, but who cares what people think. Just keep using what works fo u

Sounds like yours might be pre-filled...I'm really enjoying exploring different juices too so a pre-filled might not be a good fit for me although I do understand that those can actually be refilled by following some directions (depending on the type I guess). If you don't mind if I ask, what battery and such are you using?

Joye 510 Black Starter Kit they are 510 threading but the battery life is 280? mah.
2 x Rechargeable Manual Button Batteries
2 x Atomizers
1 x USA Battery Charger
5 x Cartridges
1 x User Manual
Also the older "tank" system (cartridges+ atomizers) is prone to leakage.

This kit KR808D1 Starter Kit - Manual button is 808 threading so you'd have to buy diff threaded accessories than your Twist/ Spinner (510).

Is there also an additional slimmer more "stealthy" model you might suggest for those situations I mentioned (like going to the casino)...I'm even willing to use blu or NJoy Kings or whatever during those scenarios...just something where I can get my vape, not be tempted to grab an analog, but not have to worry about parents/security guards questioning what I'm doing.

Its tubetank brand not prefilled. Currently im using volcano 3ohm carto with a laser cut punch but im going to be ordering some different cartos. Been doing some research to and will be upgrading from the plastic tube tank to a pyrex custum painted from ibtanked.

You're welcome. I've been using the Vision Mini Vivi Novas 2.0 ml for 7 months now and am very pleased with the performance and the longevity of the heads. If buying make absolute sure it's the Vision brand as knockoffs are problematic.

Thanks so much steelshoe....I was looking at Ibtanked website but I felt a little lost (as I have felt when looking at tanks before). I realize I will graduate up to these at some point in the near future but for now I find building a mod to be a bit overwhelming. I am using a 1300 Vision spinner and I also have an Joyetech Ego-C Twist. Would a tank work with either of these? You said you hate refilling anything, do you mean the tanks are disposable or that they hold a lot and you refill less? (That's why I thought you meant you had prefilled.) I also think I will be chain vaping in the near future as well and part of my purchase tonight will be lower dose ejuice from MBV or HHV....which tank would you recommend for a total newbie to tanks that would work with the 1300 Spinner or 650 Twist? Also finally, how did you make two paragraphs in your post...nothing happens when I hit enter so I have these big run on sentences...

Hey Ericsmom! Vapoor is right. Stay with the 510 thread.

Get smaller batteries, like 400 or 650 mAh Vision Spinner and a baby T3. Or even a 400-450 mini eGo or a SD Key Ring (you're going to need a 510>eGo adapter for the SD Key Ring, though). They are cute and small. Just look at those pictures:

I don't like that kit from MVS--you don't need those atomizers. And he overstates the rating of the 510 batteries. Joyetech 510 come in 180, 220 and 280 mAh, as far as I recall, it's been a while since I used them. If you want a ciglike set, get a couple of joye 510 battereis, a 510 charger and either a box of cartos (Boge and Smoktek are good, single coil, LR) or a Vision Nano clearomizers.

Some acidic juices will damage the plastic and thus the metal tank. They come with 3 heads.

With the Min eGo I use short cartomizers and carry extras in a Tic Tacs container. If you're talking about the Vivi Nova it just screws on to the end of the battery. To cover the threads you may want to order a eGo Cone Cover for DCTank
The Vivi Nova screws into the inner 510 threads and the sleeve screws into the outer eGo threads.

My daughter started vaping on an ego with a Ce4 clearomizer and never had any leaking problems. It's a pretty reasonable size, even with the 900maH battery so shouldn't be a problem in the casino.

They are not bad--they just have their limitations, like battery capacity. But if you want small and inconspicuous for your casino nights, those can't be beat. They look like regular cigs. Two fully charged batteries and a box of filled cartos or Nonos will last you a long time.

What I like about them is they fire at 3.7 volts and everyone that's bought one is astounded by the quality of the vape. have to go for dinner soon. Katya is extremely knowledgeable The only diff between my SD Keyring (350 ma, 3,7 volts) is it's automatic with no button or light- the mini eGo is manual with a button that lights when activated. Also your Twist/ Spinner charger will work with these so no need to buy an extra one.

I'd also suggest the mini Vivi Nova ahead of the evod. MyVaporStore carries the genuine vision ones. The copies are more hit and miss as to getting a good one.

I'd like to know who carries that tiny T3? It looks like it would go well on my mini. I usually use a regular Boge carto on my mini now.

Trying to put together a purchase without using a lot of multiple vendors, if I am reading the information correctly below, the USB charger I got with my Spinner/Twist starter pack is Joyetech USB charger Model eGo USB charger, output of DC 4.2 V 420 mA - this will work with the mini eGo listed below? I know I've seen things about 510s not working with certain chargers so I wanted to be sure I don't need a different charger for the mini eGo:
