Another peanut butter cup quest

Hello DIYers

I have decided to venture into the world of DIY. Should be receiving my order from WL by the weekend. My first juice to make will be a Reece's peanut butter cup. I have looked over all the other threads here looking for the best recipe. Well at least the ones the search feature can find. I have had a local shop mix up for me what I can find on here, plus some of my own variations to them. Nothing really hit the right mix. Some not even close. It would help if I knew what the shop was using brand wise but they won't say. One of the main issues for me is that just about every one I have tried has a funky taste and smell to it. That's from every shop I have tried. What I want to know is what flavor is causing this unpleasant taste and smell?? Sometimes I can't really taste it but can always smell it. I know it isn't the carto/wick/voltage. There is one place that I first tried it and it was almost spot on with no bad taste or smell but they changed their formula. Theirs isn't right anymore hence this quest plus my start of DIY.

The smell and taste is really hard to describe as I can't tell what it taste like other than just funk. A coworker had some one day from a shop he goes to and he said it was great. Wrong, another coworkers exact words were I think some took a piss in that guys tank when he was t lookin. So I know it's not just me.

Please help me with this guys before my order comes in and I start wasting juice!!!

flavor I ordered just for peanut butter cup in mind are all TPA at the moment and are ( not every flavor ordered)
peanut butter
chocolate
double chocolate
Milk cchocolate
bavarian cream
graham cracker
Vanilla swirl
toasted marshmallow

To me, chocolate vapes always smell like swamp ... (the vapor, not the liquid). It may taste great, but there's something about the smell that turns my stomach.

yeah, its weird it is a little bigger when im logged out. when logged in its not a link and very small thumb nail. i can read it mostly when logged out. Have you personally tried this one. it sure does sound good. still need to order some flavors from CA. My budget on this wasnt to high so i was limited. did get enough nic, pg/vg to last a good long time.

Starting to be that way too. but i dont think its all chocolates though as i have tried some that are just fine. There is a place here in the dallas ft worth area called Vixen Vapor and all their chocolate flavors are good with out the swamp ... taste / smell. The problem here is that they altered their recipe in a way to where it doesnt taste like a peanut butter cup any more. I will see if they will give me their flavor brands on their recipe, i doubt it though but worth a shot.

thanks, your recipe has been added to my list to test. Is sounds promising. I will report back in a few weeks once my supplies gets in and let it steep for a bit.

Str8Vaping or whatever his SN is, usually makes really good recipes. I would start there. Reading the ingredients, it sounds like it would be good. Personally, I like TPA's peanut butter the best. Just got more of it today and.... Heaven. Chocolate wise, I have yet to find/taste one that I've liked but some nice lady is supposed to be sending me one that's gotten good reviews so we shall see.
