im too nervous to talk to them. haha. plus, I lack the tools to do what they do. I have the same 5/64th cobalt drill bit sitting in my ebay wishlist for a week or so. then ill need a table vice. i did buy a small square sample of brass sheet to attempt what pdib did but i stripped the screw head on the bottom of my reo. so ill just wait until Rob unleashes his subohm kit officially. Thanks guys/gals of Reoville!:toast:

Wrapping coils is practice and patience. I lack the second. Adjusting airflow comes down to the position of the coil, size of the hole, location of the hole. Maybe your drip tip?

Others will give feedback.

You won't have to mod the HTML out of anything. It's simple stuff if you want to do it, and follow their advice.

i do well with microcoils i hope... haha. I am using a 10wrap on a 1/16th bit with 28g at 1.2ohms on a cotton cloud. its my favorite vape so far. i also tried using ekowool bed which makes thicker vapor but caramelizes the wick too fast. I have yet to try 26/27g kanthal or ribbon wire. i use a really long drip tip to provide a cooler vape at the same time as protecting my mouth from juice crackle. i tend to keep my coils as close to the hole as possible and at the same height as the airhole. as far as modding goes, i just dont have the tools necessary to do what darkzero and pdib does. i eagerly await for their own custom shops to open so i can trick out my reo :)

These dudes have got you covered bro :). I keep it pretty simple with my builds and about 95% of what I learned about vaping I learned from REOvil.

Remember if you make changes to your setup, make em individually and in small increments so you learn how it affects the vape quality.

In other words, don't switch juices, roll a different coil and adjust its height all at once.

If you have a decent coil and wick in, start by adjusting its height. Raise it high up - damn that's some crazy TH :)

Lower it = sweet, TH is minimalized :)

If your coil ain't looking how you wanted and it's way too hot / cool, Start by making your coil in the resistance you think you like. Then position it closer to the deck for less TH or higher for more TH. Then get your wick down. If it's too cool - rebuild and remove 2 wraps. If it's too hot, rebuild and add 2 wraps. Then once you are producing fog in the heat / TH you like, you can swap juices. Then continue to dial it in incrementally or for the effect you want for that juice.

Always try to use a fresh battery when making changes and stay with the same juice till you get it dialed :).

Always make sure your airhole is aligned as close as possible to the center of your coil.

Try to get your coil away from the posts and out closer to the rim but not so close that it could contact and short.

Small, individual changes till you feel what they do :)

Again, you are in good hands with these folks :) We all seem to like helping others achieve the highest level of satisfaction with their vape :)

Great work my brothers :)

I learned the coil height lesson the hard way. My first build with the RM2 I had it above the airhole without realizing it! Wow...not good. :)

What does the position from the rim to the posts affect?

Closer to the air source = better control of TH variables and better vapor production. On an atty with insulators around the posts this also helps not cook the insulators :)

Those guys are great and will give you loads of good info.

My suggestion, do NOT attempt the brass shim mod. It makes the hotspring useless therefore if you short it you have no protection. The brass shim mod was the stepping stone to a much safer alternative, the fuse. If you ever were to attempt any, it should be the fuse. You get the same performance as the shim but with the safety that in case of a short the fuse will blow. Regardless it is still unsafe if not handled with care and precaution (say the legs of the fuse touch the door, that wouldn't allow the fuse to blow) I used the brass shim mod for little over a week and that's because at the time the fuse was still in the works. It was more stressful knowing you had to be checking your mod all the time to prevent disasters. Best thing to do, unless you absolutely want a 25+ watts vape now, is wait for the sub ohm kit. Who knows maybe it'll give the same or close to the same vDrop as these mods being much safer.

Other than that I think everyone else covered some pretty good advices. Vape on! :D

I'm guessing it will have an effect on flavor too :)
It's hard for me to tell, vaping only nic base in mostly VG :)

Man, I didn't expect a motohead like you to be so boring with your flavors!:D I figured you'd be vaping Blazin' YZblueberry or Roostin' CRcherry punch!

I used to race back in the day...ahh...the good ol' days...

Yeah buddy ^. Been taking a break lately working on cardio which is way up now that no smokes for a year.

I'm prolly gonna sell my 01 CR 125. It doesn't look to happy in my basement. It wants to spit castor and dirt.

I suck in clay anyway. If I don't ride allot I suck on all terrains :)

I miss my Florida sugar sand :(
