Hello all. Like many I have been lurking a while I figure it is time for an introduction. I fell into the vaping thing when I received an ecig as a gift from my Mom. Unfortunatly I wish she would have told me about this first and I received little starter kit and a ton of carts from a place called smoking revolution? So I figured what the heck I'll give it a go and hopefully cut down on my smoking. So all excited like I open the package, she had already charged the batteries for me, plug in a cart and took a drag. ok....... not much smoke and tastes like I'm smoking crap. But I figure must be better than smoking right. I was getting barely any vapor and the taste slowly diminished. I figured "someone had to have come up with something that tastes good" so off I go to google. I was so glad to find this forum!!!!! Now I know what that crap like taste was, didnt clear the atty. and now have a joye510. I am loving it!!! Still smoking but have reduced that from 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day to almost 10 analogs a day!!! Yippee!!! I did order some juice from cignot when I got the 510, not really my cup of tea. then got some apple blast from electrojuice. YUMMY and my hubby is hooked on that one. He also liked the cherry. I don't really want a tobacco flavor, but am worried the apple will wear out its welcome before I find another flavor I like better. so a question for all and yes I know its all prefferance but out of us newbies, what was the flavor that you fell in love with?
Thanks for reading the ramblings of a newb like me!

Welcome. Always love seeing another Illinois vaper on the forums.
I started right off with tobacco flavors and that's where I've stayed. However, my wife has tried all the fruit flavors plus things like cotton candy, bubblegum, and pina colada. She found candy cane flavor at about Christmas time, appropriately, and that's where she's stayed.
So now our storage bin in the basement is filled with bottles of Candy Cane, Flue Cured Tobacco and USA Mix/Marlboro. I have 17 30ml bottles and she has 15 30ml bottles. We just keep stocking up.
Again, welcome to the vaping family!

So far, I haven't tried out a whole lot but I love the Kona Coffee and Coffee Mint from strictlyejuice.com, and the RY4 from freedom2vape.com. I ordered a whole lot of fruity tastes from both vendors but was surprised to find myself really not liking them.

My advice, both from personal experience and a month of lurking this forum, is to order a lot of samplers even of stuff you don't THINK you'd like.

I also hated the sweet flavors for the first week or so (Like English Toffee from strictly), but now find I'm perfectly ok with them. Seems my taste buds came back to me even after all the abuse.

I've not tried niquid from anywhere besides rockymountainvapor.com, but I like the flavors they have, and they are pretty cheap too. $6 for 10 ml, $22 for 50 ml, and free shipping over $14.

As for flavors, I liked their rassberry, regular tobacco (sometimes called USA mix), and of course, RY4 is a popular favorite. Watermelon was decent, but not strong enough for my liking.

Then again, I usually stick to tobacco and RY4. But that's my $.02

Tastes are so subjective, so one person's favorite might not be another's. When I started vaping in February, I immediately fell in love with Johnson Creek's Original Smoke Juice and Tennessee Cured. At the time, I was really looking for tabacco flavors though.

I still like both a lot, but only every now and then. My favorite morning vape is Vapor4Life's Classic Caramel Mocha Frap. In the afternoons, I like V4L's watermelon, peach, and chocolate banana. At night, I like Gourmet Vapor's Chocolate Mint or Andys Mint, or Johnson Creek's Peach (all depends on what wine we're drinking!).

This could all change since my tastes keep changing. However, I hope not, since I have a lot of prefilled carts from V4L, as well as bottles of juice from V4L, Gourmet Vapor, and Johnson Creek!

If I were you, I'd buy samples from several companies and see what appeals to you. Don't stock up though, since your tastes will keep changing!

Btw, once you find your best flavors, it will be easy to quit smoking cigs. I haven't smoked a cigarette since February!
