    Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum (still haven't finished my profile, but I will!)

I have a 401 knockoff that I found in a little smoke shop in my area. I haven't read many good things about it, however the design of my atty is nice and I've also been dripping as of late. And yes, with an auto battery. I don't find that difficult at all, and after observing the natural way that the 401 gets its fluid from the small clear pouch in the carts, I started to simulate that by dripping two drops, one down each side of the wick. I do prefer this to the carts for the vapor and TH.

I'm not going to lie, after doing research online, I found that I was ripped off on the initial price of this thing, but now have ordered another complete kit with 6 pre-filled carts, two spare attys, and 3x10ml 18mg fluid bottles on their way for the little price of $44.05.

I am in Canada, so I expedited it here for only $20, which is STILL 16 bucks less than a carton of Du-Maurier's!! For me I'm not looking for savings, but an alternative to inhaling smoke which I've done everyday, all day for 16 years.

I've tried the patches, and for a while they did satisfy the cravings. But I ultimately always go back.

From the standpoint of a guy who smoked 25-30 cigarette's a day, I do have to admit that dripping on the 401 with a nice high nicotine count, really does satisfy my urges in every way, right down to the TH itself! I'm so impressed with this technology.

I look forward to reading more of your very insightful posts and creative mods. You guys really do know your stuff and I'm glad to have found this little slice of vape heaven!

Thanks to you both. And yes Shinypaladin as far it seems to be. I no longer feel guilty about satisfying my craving (well this one anyway lol) And it's nice that since Tuesday, I haven't had a chest pain or dull pain in my neck. The worrying signs of a shortened life on it's way should I not curve my ways.

It get's scary when you think there's no way out, and I was beginning to think that serious medical concerns may be my only real motivation.

The longer you smoke that less medical concerns matter to you, sad but true. I always said that I'd totally quit if I ever had a medical scare or even shortness of breath.... we'll I gave up on that idea on the day that I had my throat biopsy (smoked all the way there and back - it was negative:) ). That's the day I realized that even a medical scare wasn't going to make me quit smoking.

Thank all that is good that we found e-cigs, right?

Yes absolutely! But I'm very disappointed to hear of our governments trying to ban these. I don't want to get into the politics behind why the FDA and Health Canada want these banned (tax dollars lost) but I find that if they're not willing to ban analogs with over 4000 chemicals expelled with each draw, then they shouldn't have a leg to stand on in their argument against these devices.

I'm still rather shocked to hear this and have already signed the petition for Canada.
